Sapporo private tour - Shiunn was very knowledgable and friendly! We had a great time trying food we would have otherwise not been able to find ourselves. It was an experience I would highly recommend for anyone visiting Sapporo.

Sapporo Private Tour - My partner and I were fortunate enough to spend a half day in Sapporo recently with Shiunn. She was wonderful. We had a few ideas of what to see and she turned that into a delightful afternoon of sightseeing and chatting. Shiunn speaks excellent English and has great juju. Just book a tour with her, you’ll be glad you did.

Well worth it! - Our guide Shiunn was great, we walked around the picturesque university grounds near our hotel, saw a museum and were shown the history of the city and the indigenous people of Hokkaido. Although the 3 hours went quickly, we walked through the streets and the underground of Sapporo and were told about many places, which we then visited in the next few days. Our tour ended at one of Shiunn's favourite ramen placed which was delicious. Highly recommended this tour as a starting point in Sapporo to get your bearings and a feel for the city.

Tour with Shiunn - Shiunn was great! We only had one full day in Sapporo, so we wanted to make the most of it. We went on a 6 hour excursion around the city, touring some of the historical landmarks, the beer museum, and a great Ramen spot. Shiunn made us feel like touring the city with a friend, albeit a knowledgable one. When she didn’t know something, she wasn’t afraid to help us find the answer and have a conversation on why that event/thing was the way it was. It was extremely helpful to have someone like Shiunn show us the best spots and help us navigate a new city. Overall, would definitely recommend the tour for a great taste of what Sapporo has to offer.

We loved Shiunn! - Shuinn was wonderful. She was flexible based on the weather, listened to our asks, and built an entire day around what was important to us. We can’t thank her enough. She was so sweet!

Perfect First Day Tour - Had the best time exploring Sapporo with Ryo. We had exchanged emails ahead of time and he was able to customize the tour based on what we wanted to do in town. It was the perfect way to spend our first full day in Sapporo (and Hokkaido in general) as Ryo left us with plenty of tips and recommendations that we used for the rest of our time in the city. Felt like hanging out with an old friend by the end of our tour.

Ryo (Leo) was an awesome... - Ryo (Leo) was an awesome guide and really customized the tour to what I was interested in! We saw so much of Sapporo, and it was great to get a sense of the city from his perspective, having lived here for many years. Even outside of the tour, Ryo provided some wonderful recommendations for the rest of my time in Sapporo and other cities I would be visiting in Japan. I was a solo traveler, and it felt like having one of my friends show me around his city!

Very good overview of the city! Thanks Ryuki! - This was a great first day tour to get the layout of the city and some out of the way highlights. Ryuki was an excellent guide, and he took us to one of our favorite stops in Hokkaido: Asahiyama Memorial Park. The autumn leaves were at their peak, and the walk was lovely. We were able to see a mountain-top view of the city there as well. Along with other stops at the Hokkaido Shrine and the 1972 Winter Olympic Ski Jump, we had an amazing lunch at a ramen place for the special miso ramen. This is a terrific first tour of Sapporo when you only have a few hours.

Poorly organized and not worth the cost - We paid over $200 for a four-hour “walking tour” that turned into aimless wandering in the rain and subway stations with almost nothing to see. The guide had no plan for bad weather. She had a terrible sense of direction and timing—often leading us in circles through subway stations and taking the longest routes instead of simple transport options. She repeatedly suggested the chocolate factory, even though it was at the very last station stop, far from where we were. We saw only the government building, reached the Beer Museum an hour before opening, and were dragged to an art museum she said she was visiting anyway. The tour ran long, and I had to end it myself. Completely unorganized and not what was advertised. I appreciate however that the company provided a full refund for our experience.
