Visitors reach the chapel by ascending 416 steps, with 14 niches depicting the Stations of the Cross along the way.

Alternatively, the summit can be accessed via the traditional funicular tram. At the top, there is a well-preserved building of a former casino, now used for leisure and contemplation. From this vantage point, one can enjoy a panoramic view of the city, including the Historic Center, the waterfront, and the port.

The hill features a 40-meter-high cliff, accessible via Miguel Estéfano Avenue, with Amaro Street providing access from the top, where a lookout point is located. It is a key landmark in Guarujá, known as Maluf Hill due to Edmundo Maluf, a São Paulo industrialist who owned a house on the hillside and hosted parties there.
