Good Value City Tour – Know What to Expect - I read the reviews before purchasing my tickets, so I knew what to expect, and the tour was exactly as described. For the price, it was a good value since they drive you around the city and lunch is included. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, and the driver did a great job—although they say tips aren’t necessary, they definitely deserve one. Tours in the Dominican Republic are often not exactly on time because they coordinate pickups from different hotels, so don’t be alarmed if schedules change. Overall, it was a worthwhile experience to learn about the city—just read the itinerary beforehand since this tour doesn’t include entry into museums, which is why it’s more affordable than others.

Santigo Domingo Day tour - Was super funny. I learned a lot of rich history. I ate good food. The tour guides had people to translate in multiple languages. This is a most book. The price was a great price 10/10

Great experience - It is a long day. If you have mobility issues be careful . We thought we signed up for an English tour but it was mostly in Spanish. The tour guide did his best to translate everything to English

Ceynotes were good, the rest so -so - This was pretty confusing at first. They picked us up and we went to a gas station where various vans waited and we were divided out into different excursions. (took awhile to figure out what was going on). Then we stopped after an hour or so for a comfort stop, but it seemed like mostly to shop. The Tres Ojos ceynotes were the best part. There was a lot going on in Santo Domingo but no one ever explained what or why. Another stop for shopping. Lunch was okay.

Driver A++...rest was very average - light on information - not really a guided tour - Went with 7 friends from Punta Cana. Manuel the driver was fantastic - engaging, talkative and accommodating. Unfortunately the tour guide was very light on info beyond dates and title of buildings...not really an informative day. Lots of standing around. Most of time spent in the colonial part of town (which is what we wanted to tour) was lunch and a lot of time at a souvenir shop. Audioguides at cathedral (5/10) and no info at Pantheon. This was a group tour - should likely have chosen the private tour. Santo Domingo itself is great to visit!

Terrible experience! - The bus was very uncomfortable on the 2.5 hour drive. The tour guide was knowledgeable and answered questions, only problem I booked the English tour and the majority was in Spanish. The lunch was extremely awful buffet of said”typical Dominican food”! I’ve hard real Dominican food, this buffet would turn any visitor off.

Unprepared tourist guide. Group lost, big waste of time waiting. Weak local agency. - Local agency Taino, pretty weak. Unprepared tourist guide, did not keep group together, did not warn about the duration of visits, nor did he worry about keeping group together. Part of the group was lost and there was a great loss of time, besides the guide ignoring the agenda and not concerned properly in keeping everyone involved. Looks like he didn't know the program. The city is beautiful but the tour could have been much better.
