Just What We Needed! - This was exactly what we needed after an overnight flight. Maycken served as a translator, tour guide, and all around nice guy to spend an afternoon with. He paid close attention to what we were interested and kept the day flexible and fun.

Fun way to spend an afternoon getting oriented to Santiago! Come hungry! - We really enjoyed our food tour with David. Great guide!! He even met us at our hotel to ensure we could start the tour with ease. He took us to spots we wouldn’t find otherwise and shared helpful information about the city (and subway!). We finished the tour with full stomachs!

Your guide to the Santiago food scene! - David did a wonderful job guiding us through the ins and outs of the Santiago food scene. The focus was on authentic Chilean food, culture, and history, and it was fascinating to hear the stories behind each dish while tasting such delicious local specialties. David knew the staff at every stop, which made the service smooth and added a personal touch to the experience. Food allergies were handled thoughtfully and without any issues. Along the way, he shared engaging explanations, personal anecdotes, and insights about the statues, buildings, and history we passed. We loved the authenticity of the tour and came away with a much better understanding of what Chilean families eat and how they celebrate holidays through food. What fun — thank you, David!

Do not book - Do not book this tour. I am not even sure where the 5 star reviews came from/ It was incredibly unorganized. First of all they shouldn’t even allow you to book on a Sunday because apparently everything is closed on Sunday’s ? Also it felt like there was no plan. The guide was decided where to go on the spot- no connections to any local places, no history of the food or history of the city. Normally on a food tour you get samples (everyone gets their own) even if they are smaller in size. The guides suggested we share which is crazy to share a beverage with a stranger? One of the guides even took a sip from my sister in laws drink (she asked but still so strange). We walked through the most disgusting parts of the city which is probably why we had a second guide with us for safety. It was daylight and Santiago is pretty safe why were we walking through random streets. Additionally the guide continued to lie to us. She asked us to share our drinks with other guests on the tour saying we would get too drunk but finally after we followed up several times she said it was because of budget constraints. If that’s the case we shouldn’t have made the stop. It’s not just the guides fault rather it’s the company for not creating any sort of itinerary for our guide. In short, don’t book and waste your time or money.
