Fast pace, cycle tour. If... - Fast pace, cycle tour. If you need some exercise, this is the trip for you. We kept a good pace and covered 40km in the 4hrs with enough breaks to take some pictures and take in the landscape. Great host who took the time at the end to hang out with a well needed cold beer. I would do it again if I’m ever in Santiago again. Many thanks.

Bike Tour of Santiago - I did the bike tour with Carlos and it was amazing. I was a solo traveler and the only participant in the tour. As I was the only one, it seemed like Carlos went to places he could not go to with a larger group. Saw some parts of Santiago I would have never seen on my own or in a larger group. After finishing the ride, I had the opportunity to continue the experience with lunch and Completo Italiano with Carlos. Thanks so much my friend!

Great tour of a surprisingly bike-friendly city. - We signed up at the last minute for this one but our guide, Carlos, easily accommodated us, provided solid bikes, and helped size and adjust them. A Santiago native, he took us to several sites around the city and had anecdotes and facts about them all, but there was still quite a bit of time just spent riding, which was very nice. What I liked the most was his flexibility and ability to come up with alternate plans and routes when there was a road closure, or when we expressed an interest in a particular topic. Highly recommend this one!

Great way to experience Santiago, but be prepared for a workout! - If you like cycling, don’t hesitate to do this tour. It is really all about an experience of Santiago’s many diverse neighborhoods and sights. It is not a historical tour (others offer that). I liked it because I enjoy cycling, and I got some good exercise (23 miles and 1,300’ climbing!). For me, a walking tour is too slow to see much, and a car or bus tour is too fast to really experience a place. Cycle touring = perfect. The views from the hilltop made the climb definitely worth it. And experiencing the cemetery was an eye-opener. Carlos is a good guide. He’s very conscientious and safety-focused. He checked back for me constantly, and gave me safety cues when we crossed streets, etc. Most of the ride is on dedicated bike paths, but some is on sidewalks or in the main road. But the route felt safe.

The distance tour - If you are a cycliste and want to cover some distance in one day, this is the tour. Carlos is a real genuine and nice person and will happily show you his town. We covered five different agglomerates and went up the San Cristóbal hill.

Biking is a great way to see the city - Biking is a great way to see the city! Two improvements might include… Buying additional size bikes with smaller and larger frames for custom fit. Also, the meeting place could use a sign of some sort. Bottom line it was a great bike ride around Santiago and we appreciate the energy and safety that The leader showed.
