The lagoon showcases a deep emerald green hue and clearness that mirror the vast panorama of the adjacent mountains. It narrates the melancholic tale of a stunning Incan princess who, upon her death, was laid to rest by her spouse in the lagoon, infusing the water with an emerald green tint reminiscent of the princess’s eyes.

Perfect Day Trip from Santiago! - 10/10! We totally recommend this day trip from Santiago. The scenery was spectacular, the wine was wonderful, and the food was fantastic. We cannot say enough about our guide Nacho and driver Jorge. Those are some intimidating roads and Jorge made us feel completely safe. And Nacho was helpful, informative, kind, and extremely entertaining. Thanks so much for an amazing day!

Very nice trip! - Great trip in the outskirts of Santiago! Recommend it! Alex and Camilo were great guides and really funny. The timing was correct and they picked me up without delays and dropped me off at the time mentioned.

Great trip into the Andes - The most significant part of the trip were the people who led it: Nacho was a *fantastic* guide, and Alex a great driver. Nacho's knowledge of wines and Chilean wine making really completed the wine tasting part of the tour.

A great day trip from Santiago! - We had an amazing day on our trip to the Andes. The weather was warm and sunny, even up at the Portillo ski resort. The views are stunning, especially of the Inca Lagoon. The hike down to the Lagoon is not that bad, although the last part would be difficult for anyone with balance or mobility problems, but it's worth it if you can do it. You can even take your shoes off and stand in the water.
We were a small group of only 6 and we decided to forgo lunch at the ski area and just had the empanadas at the picturesque little restaurant on the way back, which was enough with the addition of beverages and ice cream.
The drive up and down was an experience in itself but our driver, Alex got us there and back safely.
Nacho, our tour guide, was funny and entertaining, but he also gave us a lot of information about the area.
I picked this tour based on the many great prior reviews and I'm glad I chose it!

Amazing day trip! - The trip was amazing, Esme was a wonderful guide who explained the history so well. We saw the inca lagoon, mountains, vineyard, llamas and alpacas, and had really tasty empanadas. An amazing day - the driver Seba and guide Esma made the experience unbelievably smooth and enjoyable!

Tour through the Andes - We had an amazing tour, made so much better by our host Esme, and driver Alex. Esme gave us lots of history and fun facts, and Alex kept us safe on a long journey through the Andes. They were both super funny too.
The trip itself gave you a little bit of everything, perfect if you only had a small amount of time to sightsee. We loved the winery (and the wine), travelling through the Andes was simply stunning and the lagoon at the end of the trip was the icing on the cake.
We would definitely recommend the trip, the tour company, and especially Esme and Alex to guide you and get you there!
