Santiago - Upon arriving at Santiago International Airport, travelers should connect with the local transfer operator to be assigned a vehicle that will transport them to their chosen hotel in the city. The rest of the day is free for exploring the city at leisure.

Plaza de Armas - Plaza de Armas, known as kilometer 0, is the historic center of Santiago. Visitors can admire the Metropolitan Cathedral and other historical buildings surrounding the square, such as the Municipality, the Post Office, and the History Museum.

La Moneda - The tour continues to the Palacio de La Moneda, the iconic presidential headquarters of Chile. Guests can learn about its history and architecture and may witness the changing of the guard if it aligns with the tour schedule.

Barrio Lastarria - Next, the tour heads to the charming Lastarria neighborhood, celebrated for its bohemian vibe, cobblestone streets, cafes, and art and culture shops. It’s an ideal spot for a leisurely stroll and exploration.

Cerro Santa Lucia - Adjacent to this picturesque neighborhood is Cerro Santa Lucía. If open and time allows, visitors can climb to a natural viewpoint with gardens and trails offering stunning panoramic views of the city and the Andes.

Barrio Bellavista - The tour continues to the Bellavista neighborhood, known for its vibrant nightlife, colorful murals, and picturesque architecture. Here, visitors will also find La Chascona, one of the homes of Pablo Neruda, the renowned Chilean poet.

Valparaiso and Vina del Mar

Casablanca - The tour departs from the hotel in Santiago around 08:00 am, embarking on a 120 km journey to the Pacific Ocean. Travelers will appreciate the diverse landscape of the Curacaví Valley, followed by the Casablanca Valley, renowned for its production of Sauvignon Blanc white wine.

Plaza Sotomayor - Upon arrival in Valparaíso, visitors will be captivated by its hillside houses and picturesque landscapes. The tour includes Victory Square, Sotomayor Square, the Monument to the Naval Glories, and Paseo 21 de Mayo, where guests can ascend to a viewpoint to appreciate one of the country’s most important ports.

Plaza Victoria - Plaza Victoria, also known as Plaza de La Victoria, is situated in the El Almendral sector of Valparaíso’s city plan. It gained significance as a social center in the second half of the 19th century.

Paseo 21 de Mayo - The tour ascends to the viewpoint to appreciate one of the country’s most significant ports.

Flower Clock (Reloj de Flores) - The tour continues to Viña Del Mar, known as The Garden City. The first stop is The Flower Clock, a popular tourist site. Locals say those who photograph themselves with it will return to Viña del Mar.

Vina del Mar Casino - The next stop is the Casino Municipal de Viña del Mar, inaugurated in 1930. It is considered a place of historical and architectural interest.

Playa Renaca - A walk through this beautiful locality features staggered buildings on the hillsides and an extensive beach, a summer fun hub for locals and visitors. Time is provided for lunch and a beach walk (lunch not included).

Quinta Vergara - On the return to Santiago along the coastal path, the tour visits the iconic Quinta Vergara, known for its International Song Festival. Arrival in Santiago is around 6 PM.

Arrival in La Serena and Omega Observatory

La Serena - After breakfast at the hotel, and depending on the flight schedule, there is free time until a driver picks up guests for the airport transfer. Upon arrival in La Serena, a driver will take them to their hotel.

Vicuna - Discover the magic of the night in the fourth region. From La Serena, the tour heads to Vicuña for a nighttime spectacle. With some of Chile’s most powerful telescopes, guests explore the universe under a starry sky. The experience includes a two-and-a-half-hour introductory talk on astronomy, followed by observing various celestial objects through high-powered telescopes. La Serena and Coquimbo City Tour

La Recova Municipal Market - The tour begins with a fascinating walk, admiring the elegance of buildings and numerous churches, the region’s pre-Columbian past, and the significant evolution in the Archaeological Museum. Faro Monumental de La Serena - The visit continues to the Monumental Lighthouse, a symbol of the city.

The rest of the day is free to relax and explore the town.

Atacama and Altiplanic Lagoons

San Pedro de Atacama - The adventure begins early, between 06:00 and 06:30 hrs, from the hotel in San Pedro de Atacama, to maximize the day and immerse in the diverse landscapes awaiting exploration.

Piedras Rojas - The tour ascends to an impressive 4,000 meters above sea level to reach the Piedras Rojas, a unique geological formation characterized by intense red rocks contrasting spectacularly with the turquoise waters of the surrounding lake. Visitors can explore this surreal landscape and capture stunning photographs.

Lagunas Miscanti y Miniques - The ascent continues to nearly 4,200 meters above sea level, where the impressive Miscanti and Miñiques Altiplanic Lagoons await. These beautiful high mountain lagoons, located in the Los Flamencos National Reserve, offer dreamlike panoramic views, surrounded by majestic mountains and a variety of wildlife. It’s a perfect time for birdwatching and immersing in the region’s natural beauty.

Iglesia de Socaire - The tour then proceeds to the town of Socaire.

Laguna Chaxa - The next destination is the fascinating Laguna Chaxa, part of the vast Salar de Atacama. This salty lagoon is home to flamingos and other aquatic birds, attracted by its high salt and nutrient content. Visitors can observe these beautiful birds in their natural habitat and marvel at the unique fauna and flora.

San Pedro de Atacama - At the end of the exploration, the tour returns to San Pedro de Atacama, where guests are dropped off near the municipal parking lot to continue exploring the charming town or return to their hotel independently. Alternatively, the private service can take them directly to their hotel.

Cejar Lagoon and Ojos Del Salar

San Pedro de Atacama - The tour departs from the meeting point to the Cejar lagoon.

Laguna Cejar - The day begins by heading to Laguna Cejar, one of the region’s most iconic natural wonders. Visitors can immerse themselves in its salty waters and float like in the Dead Sea while enjoying panoramic views of the imposing volcanoes surrounding the lagoon.

San Pedro de Atacama - After this experience, the tour returns to the center of San Pedro to drop off guests near the municipal parking lot. From there, they can explore the town or return to their hotel independently. If preferred, the private service can drop them off at the hotel where they were picked up.

Bye Bye San Pedro de Atacama

El Loa Airport - Depending on the flight departure time, there is free time for last-minute shopping or city exploration. At the agreed time, the driver will pick up guests from the hotel to take them back to Calama International Airport (Atacama).
