We had an amazing 3-day,... - We had an amazing 3-day, 2-night tour in San Miguel de Allende and Guanajuato, also visiting Querétaro, and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide than Daniel.
Daniel is incredibly knowledgeable—not just about the deep historical and cultural background of each site, but also about the small details that spark curiosity along the way. Whether it was a question about architecture, local traditions, or even something we noticed by the roadside, he always had thoughtful and clear explanations.
What really stood out to me was how considerate he was with my parents, who don’t speak English. After each explanation, he kindly paused and gave me time to translate the key points to them, and whenever he interacted with them directly, he was always patient, respectful, and warm.
I highly recommend inviting Daniel to join you for a meal—he’ll recommend the most authentic local dishes, and the conversation is always enjoyable. He also customizes the route and sightseeing spots based on your pace and interests, which made our trip both relaxing and enriching!!

Daniel is the man to make this trip the best !!! - I booked a 4 day trip with Daniel . He picked me up early as I requested. He's a very sociable. And extremely interesting and intelligent guy .he knows so much about the history of mexico. If I has a question he had an answer . My head is spilling with new knowledge. It was good to eat and socialise with him when not driving or doing trips as he's good company.
We altered my tour slightly and stayed an extra night in Guanajuato instead of Leon . I was thrilled by this as it was the place I wanted to visit the most . I wasn't disappointed. He suggested the trips and I wasn't pushed or felt obliged to do anything I didn't. I've seen so much more that I'm still taking it all in .
I definitely absolutely recommend Daniel 1000000 percent . You'll love everything you see and do with this road trip. His car is expecially spacious and comfortable too

The tour is not just Guanajuato and San Miguel de Allende towns but also Queretaro and plenty of other places!
So if you have the time book the 3 days tour. It totally worth it!
Excellent work Daniel!

Must do! For the sights, and the amazing tour guide! - What an outstanding experience with Daniel. Driver, educator, tour guide, conversationalist, ultimately flexible. We just got back last night from a 3 day, 2 night trip with Daniel and I have to say, it was worth every penny, and then some. In the week leading up to our departure, Daniel contacted us regularly with ideas about where we might want to go, asking about our preferences (nightlife, shopping, churches/museums, food) so that he could map out some suggestions for us in advance. We were able to provide some guidance, and then we were able to change our minds, spend more time in some places, less time in others, based upon the whims of the day. Daniel was patient and supportive of making it the best trip possible. So much more than "transportation", once we parked in each city, we were taken on a complete walking tour of all of the key sights, with restaurant suggestions, stories of the history of the land, the people, the buildings and monuments... it was all fantastic. I'd recommend that you invite Daniel to join you for meals - it was not a requirement and he is very accommodating of your wishes, but we had some great conversations and learn even more with his company, all for the price of an extra meal here and there.
As for the locations, we are so happy to have done the three day trip so that we had ample time in each of the cities we visited. We had heard from our local Mexican friends that Guanajuato was even more beautiful and magical and San Miguel de Allende, and we could not agree more. Our first day, we ventured from Mex City to Guanajuato, out to the mines outside of town to better understand how silver mining helped to create the town and the wealth of its early settlers, then into town for El Pipila monument, funicular and then into the heart of the town for exploration and good food and drink. Daniel's hotel recommendations are spot on - he knows what he is talking about! Exploring the city after dark was fun, though we were exhausted from the long day and early start.
Second day, the short drive to San Miguel de Allende, with a stop outside the city first, then on to the La Aurora artist market, and into the heart of the city. Definitely listen to recommendations to book ahead if you want a Rooftop, sunset dinner - there are some great places for it that don't disappoint. And definitely book a hotel in the heart of the city, which makes exploration in the evening easy and enjoyable.
Day three was Queretaro, with the aqueduct, the convent and a busy downtown walking tour followed by lunch and the drive back to Mex City. It was a great trip.
So glad we did 3 days, not two, that we had one night each in Guanajuato and San Miguel, and a more relaxed schedule. Highly recommend this tour - No question about who you will get, this is Daniel's tour so you will get him! I'm sure that your experience will have you questioning just why this adventure was so inexpensive for getting a 24 hour, 3 day driver, tour guide and historian, and like me, have you stuffing a bunch more money into his pocket as you say goodbye.

You won't regret - Daniel is very friendly and very punctual on time. My parents are 80 years old. They enjoyed Daniel's recommended route and finished the whole walking tour without feeling tired. Just the right amount! Besides, Daniel is very knowledgeable about the history and shared with us a lot of stories. Very good experience.

Totally amazing English-speaking guide & totally the highlight of my trip! - Daniel really went above & beyond to suit to our interest and need, which are mainly the churches, history, and the traditional food, even though that meant he had to add into the itinerary so he worked extra long hours. I wish I could give 6 or even 10 stars, it was even so hard to choose only 10 photos because we had so many good photos and very memorable trip. He was so patient when we were taking so many photos. Even after we ran out of time, he still showed a place which he thought would leave us a great memory, and it really did. He also shared so much knowledge that we get to know more about Mexico beyond just the destinations, but the history, culture, tradition, and development. Don't be afraid to ask about things you are unsure or interested in, he will do his best to fulfill or give recommendations! His English is so good and he really doesn't mind translating or taking photos for us! If we had more time, we would totally book more trips with him directly, we'll totally recommend him & this trip (take the longer three-day of Guanajuato, SMA, and Queretaro if you have time). A totally sweet and thoughtful person, very punctual too with pick up time! I don't think even anything I said or photos I shared is enough to describe how thankful we are! Muchas gracias, Daniel 🙏🙏

San Miguel worth a visit - San Miguel is worth a day trip from Mexico City. Not into high-end shopping (was surprised at all the boutiques and art galleries everywhere), but the churches, streets, parks, and town square were great. Queretaro (included on our private tour on the way back), was less worthwhile, although the unexpected waves of bats emerging from caves before sundown on our drive back were quite a sight.
