Wonderful evening - We spent a wonderful day with Santiago, a cultured and polite guide who told us the story of each place we visited in very interesting details. I highly recommend this walk!

Impressive - Stunning and beautiful on the outside. I would have loved to visit inside, but time problems. A very gaudy and different building to the famous Barcelona

Best of all, the... - Best of all, the guide. It explains the whole history of the places in a very pleasant way. And on Gaudí's whim the guides are also great

Not English tour - This tour is labelled ‘in English.’ It is actually a tour in Spanish with some English. The guide was good (giving info in English) in the village with the Gaudi House but the commentary on the drive, in the forest and at the Mideval village were minimal. The village & Gaudi house were the highlight of the day.

Ameno and interesting - If you don't have a car, it's a convenient way to visit these places. Guide Santiago is very pleasant and a phenomenon, he explained many things to us, including Gaudí’s El Capricho, and left us free time and at our leisure. Recommended. If we miss visiting inside any building in Santillana. Otherwise, great.

Lovely experience. - Really great places to visit. Highlight was El Capricho. Would have given the tour 5 stars but it was 80% done in Spanish although it was advertised as also in English.

Organised Trip - 15 minutes before attending the trip I read a message from the company advising the trip was not available in English. The message had been sent just over an hour before the trip was due to start and we were already travelling to the start point. So we went on the Spanish guided tour. This detracted from the overall experience as we didn't get to know all the history and information about the venues but especially El Caprichio. The guide spoke very knowledgeably for long periods of time so it was frustrating not to be able to understand it. It was a very long day with lots of walking. It would not be suitable for less able walkers. As a footnote we have not heard back from the company following our message of discontent

Inconsiderate touroperator - 45 minutes before start tour the tour was cancelled. Reason: to few English speaking guests. Tour only in Spanish. This was known the day before and the day before that. Because of the late cancellation we were not able to arrange an alternative. If they informed us earlier there wouldn’t have been a problem. Now we have wasted a day. Cancelling this late for this reason is inconsiderate and egocentric from the touroperator.
