Hike along Levada do Rei PR18 to waterfalls - The hike at Caldeirao was closed but the tour operator provided Levada do Rei as alternative. I enjoyed the Levada do Rei hike. Mainly on flat ground, along a stream leading to a magnificent waterfall at the end (be warned it was wet). The ground was muddy but still worth the experience! Our driver Fabio was nice, laid back and eager to help, also negotiated the narrow, steep streets of Funchal expertly. I would recommend this hike.

Levada P6 - April 13th 26 - Very good walk, the start was a bit bland, but after initial walk down tarmac path it got better and better The walk was changed as initial Levada was closed but well informed Andre picked us up from hotel and dropped us off and picked us up, was very good

Alternative trails - We done PR6.2 & PR6.3 instead as this one was closed. Really enjoyed the trails, even in the rain! Our driver Vitor was very helpful and made sure we had all the information about the trail before starting.

Beautiful, tranquil hike! - Our driver (Vitor) was fantastic & kept us posted at all times :) The hike was beautiful & tranquil & the waterfalls were incredible! Most of the hike was on flat ground which was nice & the views were insane! 100% recommend this hike!

Easy and enjoyable - The Levada was closed was closed the day of my booking, but the company reached out and set me up with a different Levada walk. The transportation was clean and on time. The driver was friendly, walked us to the start of the hike, and was waiting for us when we finished. The pick up and drop off at my hotel made the whole experience easy and enjoyable!

Great company! - An absolutely unforgettable day. Fabio was our driver who picked us up promptly and was so very friendly and knowledgeable. Excellent communication from this company. We had originally booked PR9 but it was closed on the day. We were offered alternatives and chose the Vereda do Larano which was amazing! Thank you for making this day so special!

Rain and wind - Despite the rain and wind it was a wonderful nature experience! The paths were well maintained and despite the steep climbs it was possible to get around! The transport back and forth from Ribeira Brava was comfortable and safe!

25 fontes trail walk - We booked with this company. Communication was very good. Driver was on time. Walk was great. The only thing I would say is that this walk is not guided. They give you some information but they don’t walk with you. So ultimately you are paying for a taxi service. I’m not saying it’s not worth it - because it is very busy there. But it’s not guided. If I did it again, I would drive there myself - we had a hire car. If you don’t have a hire car - this is 100% worth booking. The walk. This itself is definitely worth doing. ALOT of steps!!!!!! Massive elevation change. BUT - it is 100% worth doing. You will experience something unique and also you will burn some calories and feel better for it!!!! 100% Worth the effort and money ………
