My favorite part of my Italy trip. - Alessandro was the best guide I’ve ever had. He felt more like a welcoming host of Verona than a paid tour guide. The weather did not cooperate unfortunately but Alessandro’s historical and local knowledge, along with his wonderful personality and imagination made our tour of Lake Garda something to remember. He took us on little side ventures to introduce us to fantastic coffee drinks and off the beaten track historical sites. He organized an impromptu wine tasting and local food intro. I learned more and laughed more than I planned and saw some of the local villages without any crowds. I will stay in touch with him, recommend him and use him again at first chance!

Fantastic day not to be missed. - Our guide and driver Alessandro was fun and knowledgeable about the region . We had a very enjoyable day. We sat and ate the best focaccia on edge of Lake Garda and finished our day with a glass of wine in the most beautiful setting. We cannot wait to return.

Relaxing day trip - This was such a fun day out with Alessandro. He is so passionate about the area, its history, its wine, it was infectious. We strayed a little from the expected itinerary, but overall, this was a wonderful day trip, and would definitely recommend!

Winery and Lazise tour - This was our second tour with Martina during this stay in Verona. Martina was simply exceptional in looking after us on this occasion also. She arranged for her boyfriend Henny to take host us for the initial part of the tour. We thoroughly enjoyed his company during the wine tasting. Martina then took over and completed the tour which included a visit to Lazise. Again, her knowledge of the area and historical locations was outstanding. We are particularly grateful for her care and assistance in conveying us to Bardolino which was our next location for our visit to Verona and Lago di Garda.\nGrazie mille Martina and Henny.

Verona, unmissable - Very nice city, with interesting tourist attractions, some “produced” like Juliet’s house, the situation complicates is the large number of tourists, collapsed streets, etc. Despite that, the warmth of the local people, restaurants and the like make your stay very pleasant In addition, it is very well located to consider as a base to know tourist places nearby, such as villages of Lago Di Garda (Sirmione ,Riva,limone etc)

Beautiful Winery, Not Enough of Lake Garda - our guide was Alessandro, he was a delight , very knowledgeable, and very personable. We went to a beautiful family winery Boghetti Vineyard--Barbara was very welcoming and presented an outstanding wine tasting. Then went to the Lake Garda region , stopped at a large villa on the lake for a glass of wine and some pictures. The reason for 4 out of 5 is I did not feel I got to see Lake Garda enough--only from one location. We got to Lake Garda around 5pm on a Sunday when everyone was leaving to return home so the traffic was very heavy, thus the reason we did not see more of the lake.

What’s going on? - We booked this tour weeks in advance and were so much looking forward to it. The payment was taken a few days beforehand, as expected. The very next day we received an email saying the trip had now been cancelled. Hmm … There was no alternative tour or activity offered. Then we received a text telling us it was going ahead as planned. I phoned the given number, only to hear that it was definitely cancelled. I contacted the company to express my disappointment at being left in the lurch at the last minute. No response. They still have our money - no refund as yet.
