A Warm Welcome at Rancho Grande

As a travel writer and a mother of three, I’m always on the lookout for family-friendly adventures that offer a blend of fun and learning. When I heard about the Mallorca Horseback Adventure in Santa Ponsa, I knew it was something I had to experience. The idea of an evening horseback ride followed by a BBQ and live music sounded like the perfect way to spend a day with my kids.

Our journey began with a scenic drive through the beautiful landscapes of Mallorca. The excitement in the car was palpable as we approached Rancho Grande, a place that promised a day full of adventure and discovery. The more experienced riders in our group had the chance to trot and canter, while the rest of us enjoyed a leisurely walk. It was a perfect balance, ensuring everyone had a memorable experience. The kids were particularly excited to have their ‘Wanted’ photos taken, a fun souvenir to remember the day by.

An Evening of Entertainment and Delicious Food

After the ride, we returned to the ranch for an evening of entertainment and delicious food. A talented country singer took to the stage, and under her guidance, we all learned a simple line dance. It was a joy to see the kids laughing and dancing, their faces lit up with happiness.

Dinner was a BBQ feast, with a variety of meats, salads, and sides. The kids loved the chicken skewers and jacket potatoes, while I savored the pork chops and garlic aioli. The meal was accompanied by wine, sangria, and soft drinks, all included in the experience.

The evening concluded with a spectacular show featuring fire dancing, flamenco, and impressive horse performances. The kids were mesmerized by the skill and artistry on display, and it was a wonderful way to end our day at Rancho Grande.

As we made our way back to our accommodation, tired but happy, I reflected on the day’s events. The Mallorca Horseback Adventure had exceeded all expectations, providing a perfect blend of adventure, education, and entertainment.
