Visit locations unreachable by car or tour bus by engaging in a distinct and entertaining activity - riding an electric bike with a small group of six! As you traverse the Venice canals and Santa Monica Beach, you have the option to pedal in the traditional manner or opt for the electric mode. This is a bike tour with a different flair, providing you the opportunity to explore the highlights of Santa Monica and Venice Beach in a small group for a more intimate experience and a local flavor.
- MUST BE COMFORTABLE RIDING A BIKE
- PLEASE ARRIVE 15 MINUTES BEFORE TOUR TIME at 9:45am or 1:45pm for check-in and warm-up.
- Minimum age is 13 years and must be 5 foot tall and minimum 100 lbs
- Guideline for maximum age is 70 if you are a comfortable bike rider.
- Children aged 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult
- We recommend you wear closed toed shoes, sunscreen and sunglasses and bring a jacket (all bikes have double saddlebags for small items).
- Tours do not operate in rain
- Important: The tour requires a minimum number of passengers to operate. There is a possibility that the tour may be cancelled after confirmation if there are not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring you will be provided with an alternate option or full refund.

- Los Angeles/Santa Monica are famous for traffic. Plan for TRAFFIC especially on Freeways.

Highly recommend “Pedal... - Highly recommend “Pedal or Not Electric Bike Tours“ tour of Santa Monica & Venice Beach. Our guide was deeply knowledgeable about the history of the area, very personable and engaging, and he definitely made this one of the highlights of our trip to LA. Also the cool ocean breezes blowing in off the beach are every so lovely.

Great experience - We had never been on ebikes before and found it very easy. The guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. The starting point is a little store on a side street with meter parking. There is a little riding on streets, especially through the venice canals. We were very lucky, nobody else signed up so our family had a private tour. Would definitely do it again.

Brilliant bike tour - Wonderful bike tour with Barbara! She is a Santa Monica local with lots of great knowledge and information. My Son and I had loads of fun and we highly recommend doing this tour.

A Wonderful and Memorable Way to Discover Santa Monica & Venice Beach - I’m staying only a short time in Los Angeles/Santa Monica, and Barb’s e-bike tour was the perfect way to discover the main spots along the beaches of Santa Monica and Venice. She brings the places to life with stories and anecdotes, using photos she carries with her during the tour.
Barb is very attentive to what you like (or don’t like) and takes the time to photograph you at all the must-see locations.
Thank you, Barb, for this special experience that will remain one of my favorite memories of Los Angeles.

Great Way to Spend the Morning - My best friend and I signed up for this tour and had an absolute blast. It honestly became one of those core memory kind of days that we’ll talk about forever. The bikes were great, Barb was a phenomenal tour guide, and seeing the city from the seat of a bike felt like the absolute best way to experience it.
We truly couldn’t have asked for a better day. The meeting/ending point is also in the perfect location... we grabbed coffee and breakfast beforehand, then walked to lunch and drinks after the tour. Everything was super easy and walkable.
I can’t recommend this experience enough! Thank you Barb for all of the great photos you took of us too. So fun!
