Visit locations unreachable by car or tour bus by engaging in a distinct and entertaining activity - riding an electric bike with a small group of six! As you traverse the Venice canals and Santa Monica Beach, you have the option to pedal in the traditional manner or opt for the electric mode. This is a bike tour with a different flair, providing you the opportunity to explore the highlights of Santa Monica and Venice Beach in a small group for a more intimate experience and a local flavor.
- MUST BE COMFORTABLE RIDING A BIKE
- PLEASE ARRIVE 15 MINUTES BEFORE TOUR TIME at 9:45am or 1:45pm for check-in and warm-up.
- Minimum age is 13 years and must be 5 foot tall and minimum 100 lbs
- Guideline for maximum age is 70 if you are a comfortable bike rider.
- Children aged 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult
- We recommend you wear closed toed shoes, sunscreen and sunglasses and bring a jacket (all bikes have double saddlebags for small items).
- Tours do not operate in rain
- Important: The tour requires a minimum number of passengers to operate. There is a possibility that the tour may be cancelled after confirmation if there are not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring you will be provided with an alternate option or full refund.

- Los Angeles/Santa Monica are famous for traffic. Plan for TRAFFIC especially on Freeways.

Barb was our tour leader,... - Barb was our tour leader, she was great! She was Very informative with lots of interesting stories about the local area. We also heard some stories about the first celebrities to build in the area and saw some very cool and interesting houses. I would highly recommend this tour.

Mother/Daughter Day in Santa Monica - Barb was a wonderful tour guide for my 18-year-old daughter and myself. She did a great job of teaching us how to use the E bikes prior to the tour. On the tour, she brought us to many interesting stops and taught us a lot about the beach area and including some fun stories about some of the sites we saw. She was great about answering questions and has a fun sense of humor! You can tell she loves her job and showing off her city!

Great experience with Pedal or Not Bike Tours - Fantastic experience. Our group of 5 (two adults and three teens) had such a great time with Pedal or Not Electric Bike Tours. Steph was our tour guide, and he had some great stories and history to share. Barb and Steph provided everything we needed...water, excellent quality bikes, even a wind breaker! The weather was perfect! This was a top highlight of our trip to LA. Highly recommend!

Fun, interesting and very enjoyable e-bike tour of Santa Monica and Venice - We had a wonderful time! Barb tailored the tour to our group of three, even letting us start a bit later because we'd come from the airport and hadn't had lunch (the afternoon tour). Barb is very knowledgeable about all things tourists like to see and want to know. She was always watchful and mindful of the slowest person. The bikes are well maintained and contributed to the enjoyment of the tour. Highly recommended way to start your trip to LA, particularly Santa Monica and Venice!

Great experience - Great experience. Barbara was amazing! Learned more about the area. Parking suggestion was perfect at Joseph and I would recommend breakfast at Papille Gustative (get the brunch plate) before the tour.

Brilliant tour of the area. - Fun and comprehensive ride through Santa Monica and Venice. Took in all the sights. Comfortable good quality bikes. Barb is wonderful. Definitely recommend.

Awesome experience, it... - Awesome experience, it was fun, learned a lot and took some beautiful pictures along the way. Also great workout if you choose to pedal, if not just turtle away. Barb was great, would definitely recommend.

Relaxing ride - Great way to see Santa Monica and Venice beaches as well as some great history of the local area. Good quality bikes with comfy seats, suits all fitness levels.

Wonderful experience! Fun, relaxing, beautiful, informative! - This was an incredible experience. Our tour guide Steph was great to be with- he has history and current info on the area. First time on electric bikes for our Family of six and all ages- we all felt comfortable. Will do it again in next trip.
