After enjoying a delightful coffee and a light breakfast, embark on a trek lasting about 5 hours. Experience a 360° view of the breathtaking Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, with Santa Marta city and Tayrona Park visible on the side. Keep an eye out for birds unique to this region. Reach the highest point, Cerro Kennedy, at 3,060 meters, then descend to the comfortable Hostal Altos de la Sierra. There, savor lunch and the chance to interact with locals.

Minca - Day two greets you with a dreamlike sunrise, ideal for capturing the perfect selfie in front of the majestic glaciers. A good coffee and a delicious breakfast will energize you for the descent through a South Andean forest mountain, rich in lush vegetation and an unparalleled variety of birds, including the commonly seen quetzal.

Trek a steep jungle trail until you reach the magnificent Aluna Waterfall, where you can admire its impressive water veil. Then, continue on a one-kilometer ascent to the Palace of Clouds. There, Lenin, your host, will welcome you with a delicious lunch and a comfortable room for rest. Spend the afternoon with Lenin’s family, sharing knowledge and enjoying the warmth of a campfire in the late afternoon. Dinner will be served in a cozy dining room before you retire for the night.

Minca - The final day starts with delicious coffee and toast, followed by a selfie with Lenin’s family and pets in front of the glaciers and the beautiful garden surrounding the Cloud Palace.

Begin the ascent through a meadow of horseshoe trails with endless views towards the grand canyon of Guachaca. Enjoy the sight of waterfalls, mountains, and birdsong until reaching the top at 2,200 meters. If the clouds permit, catch a glimpse of Tayrona Park and its beaches. Arrive at La Lujana Farm to meet Yesid and Milena, your hosts, who will greet you with a delicious breakfast.

Continue downhill to the Veil of the Bride Waterfall to refresh your spirit. Finally, enjoy a delicious lunch at Farm Korea. The journey concludes with a three-kilometer trek on an undulating path, followed by an enduro motorcycle ride to Santa Marta, returning to your hotel in the “Pearl of America.”
