Excellent Tour - Excellent tour and the guide was super passionate and interesting when speaking of coffee and ecology. The cacao/chocolate part of the tour was great too. :)

Magic day - Great tour I recommend the guide was at the top little attention , excellent explanation, for nature protection and a healthier and greener tourism, I really do not regret the price of the service, of course there are cheaper , but less well also

Very organized trip - I had a great time. It was very educational and perfect day to spend time in the mountains. It is important to eat a good breakfast and bring at least 3L of water. The tour guide stopped every few minutes and keep the group in the same pace. We got some samples to take home of artisinal coffee and chocolate. The view and lunch were delicious.

I had a wonderful travel... - I had a wonderful travel experience. Everything was coordinated well from pick up and drop off in santa marta. Lunch was excellent. The tour guides were very informative and entertaining. You are able to buy small samples of artisan coffee and the original coffee beans here. I was with a group and everyone was friendly and helpful. Its important to bring hiking shoes and at least 3 litres of water due to the terrain and humidity to last you the 8 hours.

Beautiful nature! - Martin is an excellent guide! He knows a lot about nature and can effortlessly switch from Spanish to English. He has guided us along roads where no tourists go and is quite beautiful and unspoilt. I definitely recommend it. Niv of the hike is average.

Minca tour - The tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly Beautiful scenery, excellent presentation on the process for growing and making coffee. The only suggestion that I have is to provide a rating of the level of hike with inclines and stepping on the rocks.

Great Eco Tour! - We had a great tour. Fun walking, great information about the eco system. The organic coffee farm & eco lodge were hidden gems I wouldn’t have known about if I visited Minca on my own.

Mediocre tour - This tour is only for people in very good physical condition without respiratory or cardiac issues. The hike is moderately strenuous. And at times steep, narrow terrain in covered in roots and rocks.
I expected our hiking guide to be more knowledgeable. He calls himself a biologist but often his information was incorrect. The coffee farm was a disappointment because it is a small, rudimentary, family operation in the middle of the jungle. Coffee plants are sporadically mixed in on the jungle floor. The farm is so small that it only produces enough coffee to serve and sell to the farm visitors.
The biodiversity lecture is excellent. The sustainability and chocolate making lectures are only good at best.
Total tour length was 8.5 hours from hotel pick up to drop off

Bad guide - The wonderful places but the organization has not liked. Unlike other tours where I was contacted the day before, this one I had to contact... this morning they arrived 40 min late and I didn't know how to contact them since to the number indicated in Viator, no one answered either calls or WhatsApp.
I found the guide very unprofessional for several reasons:
1. He always spoke in English and after a long speech translated the last sentence into Spanish, I have asked him more times to repeat it in Spanish, but at one point he has been angry and from there I have been silent, therefore I enjoyed the tour half x lack of understanding
2. Running, walking very fast x roads not always easy, and leaving people far but far behind
3. Only in 2 very dangerous points has helped people, along the way we have helped each other between participants. If it wasn't for the companions...
4. He knew a lot being a biologist but he gave us a talk about the animals of Amazonia that, even if very. Interesting(x how little I understood English) had nothing to do with Minca
Apart from that the wonderful places very untouristic and beautiful

Tour is the same tour as the cheapest Option - book the cheaper tour! - Do not book this tour. Book the cheaper tour because it is literally the same tour. We specifically booked this tour because the description sounded like it is more about hiking and waterfalls but it was EXACTLY the same program as the cheaper tour. The other participants paid not even half of the price because they booked the cheaper tour and we paid almost 80$ for the exact same tour. We even talked to the operator and to jungle joe (who is responsible) and he just told us that they only do this tour and it is always this tour, so for your sake book the cheaper tour and save yourself some money. We complained to them and even requested a partial refund but the operator (jungle Joe) denied a refund. What a scam. Nevertheless the tour itself (if you don’t pay the overpriced scam tour) was partially okay. I would say the “hiking” is definitely not worth it because you can explore the area by yourself. There are good trails, it is safe, you can’t get lost. The lunch was okay and the lady did a good job with cooking but that doesn’t justify the tour either, I would rather suggest to eat somewhere locally, you don’t hike far away so no need for that lunch. The coffee farm with explanation and the cocoa workshop was pretty interesting and the best part of the tour but therefore I would recommend to just book that separately, way cheaper, you can easily walk there by yourself, it is 15min by foot and there are signs everywhere. Just ask around in Minca and explore the area by yourself, it is a way better experience. What I would like to mention is the tour guide from the other group - Toni - he is a natural activist and gave us all a biodiversity speech which was super interesting and you could really see that he is passionate about what he does. If you really wanna book a tour at least make sure to go with him!
