• H3WV+R8 Santa Maria - Wingfoiling is the exciting new sport to master! It’s perfect for everyone, from complete beginners to those with kite and windsurfing experience.
  In the first lesson, participants will start on the beach to become familiar with the wing. The instructor will explain the various sail positions and demonstrate how to achieve the correct sailing position, how to start, stop, and turn. Then, it’s time to hit the water!
  Participants will begin with a large board to get accustomed to the wing. As they progress, they will continue using the large board to learn how to navigate upwind and downwind, and how to turn towards the wind (Tack) and away from the wind (Gybe).
  Once these skills are mastered on the large board, participants will be introduced to the foil board to practice all the skills they have learned. This will prepare them for their first flight, allowing them to lift the board out of the water and glide above the ocean.
  It’s an incredible experience, and Sal offers fantastic locations and conditions for learning.

This introduction to the sport allows you to learn basic skills on the beach and then go into the water to practice. It is fun, safe and exciting.
