Great overview of Sal Island - Nice day trip with interesting places of Sal Island, the lemon shark experience and the floating in the salt mine lake being the top ones!

MAKE THIS 4-HOUR TOUR - We made this half-day excursion with this Enterprise and we did not regret a little bit, it gave us to see everything that the Salt has of the most touristic, we went to Murdeira, we passed the Rocca do leão, we went to Buracona to see the blue eye and what a beautiful natural phenomenon. Very tall and a little scary, but it's take a picture and it's already! We went to the city of Palmeira to know the locals and their customs, we went to see how they arranged the fish. Then we went to the salines and whoever wanted could float there, no one drowns! The water has 25% more salt than the sea water so it never let you go to the bottom, we didn't go because we didn't take bikini, but it was full! We ended up at the hotel, but we passed through the mirage. A frightening phenomenon, it seems that the sky is the earth are one and, apparently, if we walk there, we walk in circles, we never return to the same place. We went in a super fixed jeep, with 2 super quiet local tour guides who were explaining the whole trip to us. A love of people. We would definitely repeat. Bring sunscreen, hat and plenty of water. Take money for souvenirs and your phone to take lots of photos. Things we don't see every day and sometimes things that only happen once in a while, like a sea turtle passing by in the blue eye! Beautiful

Enjoyable trip! - Enjoyed the whole trip especially the salt mines swimming. Our guide, Kevin, was informative and easy going. He always made sure we were taken care of whether it was at the lunch restaurant, shark walk or whatever. Kudos to him.

It was a good excursion,... - It was a good excursion, but very slow in my opinion. The guide was great, but I think the amount of time in each place is way too long.

Full Day Tour - My advice to anyone going on this is to remember to take a jacket! We were expecting a minibus to turn up for us and ended up on the open back of a pick up truck! The trip itself was good, however we didn’t get to see blue-eye as sea was too rough on the day we went. Really enjoyed the Sharks though. Our guide was lovely and as they say, No Stress!

We were able to perceive the way of life of the locals, their culture! - When I made the reservation I was informed that it was a jeep.e 8 people, and I went in a cart with 10 people plus two babies! A disappointment!

Nice Tour, Bad Guide - I think this could have been a much more enjoyable tour if we had a different guide. Our tour guide seemed a bit irritable and even rushed us around the entire day. He gave us very little information about the history of the island, and he did not speak English well, making it hard to understand where we were going or what location we were arriving at. He also messed up my wife's lunch order and then proceeded to become frustrated at her and was very rude to her and the rest of my group when we corrected him. Honestly, it was a bummer because many of the sites were very beautiful and you truly get to see the entire island on this tour. Also, you may have to ride on the back of a pickup truck, which is a neat experience but extremely dusty and windy on different parts of the island. Overall, for an island whose motto is "No Stress," our guide could have used this advice.
