Highlights

- Fontona - Fontona is the largest oasis on Sal Island, situated near Palmeira Village on the northeast coast.
- Palmeira - Palmeira is a vibrant fishing village with colorful, traditional Cape Verdean houses. Located in the northwest of the island, it hosts the main port.
- Buracona - Blue Eye Cave - Note: The actual stop will be Regona, a stunning natural swimming pool near Buracona. Due to limitations, it couldn’t be added as a location on the itinerary, so Buracona, the nearest place to Regona, was chosen.
- Terra Boa - Situated in the northern part of the island, Terra Boa is the greenest area of Sal. Here, one can witness the “Mirage” (or “Fata Morgana”), an optical phenomenon where hot light rays reflect distant objects and the sky, creating the illusion of a desert lake.
- Pedra de Lume - Within the crater of an ancient volcano lies the world’s second saltiest water.
- Feijoal - Shark Bay. Walk closely with lemon sharks in this shallow bay on Sal’s eastern coast.
- Serra Negra - On the route to Murdeira, admire Serra Negra, the “Black Mountain,” located in the natural reserve of the east coast. From its summit, enjoy a breathtaking lunar landscape, while at its base lies one of Sal’s wildest beaches, welcoming Loggerhead Turtles in the summer.
- Kite Beach - Sal Cape Verde - This beach is renowned for hosting kitesurfers in the winter and Loggerhead Turtles in the summer. During winter, kitesurfers from around the world flock here for the waves and strong winds. In summer, the bustling beach is replaced by Loggerhead Turtles laying their eggs.

Dusty fun on four wheels - An excellent day out, fantastic use of the buggies off road, a truely dusty high octain adventure, made even better with a chance to wade in the sea with the lemon sharks

Most friendliest staff - We (me my husband and kids 9,11, year olds) had a trip for 4hours and explored south of Boa Vista with Ricardo and Denies. They both were so excited and proud to show us the island, always taken care of our safety and that all of us were fine at all times checking on us. If seen that kids needed help with the helmets ir seatbelt, would jump in to help without asking as if they always on a watch out to help some one out in need. Enthusiasm throughout the trip has flowed naturally and we got to know few interesting facts or information about places we have stopped. The trip was perfect. The favourite part had to be the baobab tree we visited that was planted from Senegal.
The trip was fantastic, and we all enjoyed it truly.
We did get dusty, but they were amazing at providing suits to cover and protect our clothes, and was well prepared for us to relax and enjoy the trip.
Once we got back we were power air jet to remove all remaining dust we collected during the trip, so we get home nice and clean.

We were today, April 13, 2026. Beautiful experience... - We were today, April 13, 2026. Beautiful experience especially on board the catamaran from which we saw and followed dolphins and huge turtles. Friendly and polite staff make you feel the warmth of the holiday with snacks and drinks of all kinds as well as dancing on board. Beautiful experience.

100cc Buggy Tour - An amazing excursion, highly recommended! We booked the 4 hour trip with 1000cc ATVs. The tour guide Rony was amazing, super friendly, helpful and informative

Great Tour with Mauro - We did this tour as a couple. For anyone who might be hesitating because of the price—just like we were beforehand—it’s absolutely worth every cent!
Everything was perfectly organized: the pickup was on time, and once we arrived at No Limits, we were provided with overalls, helmets, and goggles. A scarf, which we highly recommend, can be purchased on-site for seven or ten euros.
We had Mauro as our guide—he was amazing: incredibly helpful, friendly, and genuinely great to be around. During the tour, you get to see some of the most beautiful and impressive spots on the island, and you will definitely get very dirty 😊
We had an incredible amount of fun and can wholeheartedly recommend this tour!

It’s a must experience - It was a fantastic experience. It started with a prompt pick up and took as to the centre. The staff were very friendly and helpful and I could see they were helping many people with the waiver form and they did not seem frustrated at all. When we left the office we were helped if required to put the gear on. The staff remained keen that everyone had a great experience. The route was excellent, stopping off at everywhere you want to visit while on Sal island. Finishing up with the lemon sharks. On the way back seemed liked an assault course for quads and beach buggies…..amazing. If you are visiting Sal this experience is a must.

An experience at the top! - Thanks to Rafael for this moment of discovery and adventure! Our 4h buggy ride was a real pleasure. Complete experience of the equipment up to the local explanations. Just one word: great!

Great fun, fantastic staff. - On arrival, filled out drivers license form and kitted out with much appreciated overalls. All the staff were so helpful and friendly. Started on road which is good as it gives time to get to grips with buggy before going off road where the fun starts. We both had a great time, would definitely recommend this experience.

Fantastic way to see Sal ! - From the booking process to the end of the trip - everything was well organized. A great way to see a lot of the island. A fun experience with great guides who took safety seriously. There were also families on this trip with young children and everyone had a great time ! Would thoroughly recommend this excursion.
