- The Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi - Santa Fe translates to “holy faith,” and in 1610, the first church was constructed on this site. It was replaced by a larger one in 1630, which was later destroyed during the Pueblo Revolt of 1680. The church doors feature 20 bronze plaques depicting New Mexico’s history since 1539.

- Loretto Chapel - This chapel is a popular choice for tours, weddings, and other events. It is renowned for its unique helix-shaped spiral staircase.

- 215 E De Vargas St - The current dwelling is built on part of the foundation of an ancient Indian Pueblo dating from around 1200 CE. Primarily an early Spanish dwelling, it clearly displays the original architecture, and the exterior walls are excellent examples of adobe, reflecting the “Cities of Gold” story.
- New Mexico State Capitol - Dedicated in 1966 and built in a territorial style, the rotunda in the center features the Great Seal of the State of New Mexico and the Zia sun symbol. Visitors can explore art and handcrafts by New Mexico artists, including Michael Naranjo’s sculpture and the Eternal Flame at the Bataan Memorial.
