As a seasoned traveler and surfer, I’ve always been drawn to the ocean’s call, but this time, I decided to trade my surfboard for a saddle. With some unexpected time off, I found myself yearning for a different kind of adventure. That’s when I stumbled upon La Mision Horseback Riding in Santa Anita. They arranged everything seamlessly, from transport to accommodation, making me feel like a part of their family even before I arrived. On my first day, I met Jose, who took me on a gentle ride to assess my riding skills. It was a perfect opportunity to practice my Spanish while enjoying the stunning landscapes. Watching the family care for the horses, I realized that this was more than just a business; it was a way of life.

The foals, the laughter, and the genuine care for the animals created an atmosphere that was both welcoming and heartwarming. It was a reminder of the simple joys that come from being connected to nature and living life with passion.
