Established in 1907, Munetoshi Sickle Works is among the few remaining factories in Sanjo City that still produces sickles. Koichi Tsurumaki, a third-generation artisan with over 50 years of blacksmithing expertise, meticulously handcrafts each sickle with a commitment to quality, earning him the title of a certified traditional craftsman. These sickles, crafted from high-quality steel known for its superior sharpness and ease of sharpening, are available in thin, medium, and thick options to cater to various needs, from cutting soft grass to trimming small branches.
- 吉沢染工場 - Witness the dyeing process of various types of “tenugui” (traditional Japanese hand towels) using age-old techniques. Dyeing was once a major industry in Sanjo City, but over time, it has nearly vanished. This factory, the last of its kind, preserves the heritage of that era.
- 遊亀楼 魚兵 (ゆうきろう うおひょう) - Enjoy a meal at a long-standing local restaurant.
- Hinoura Cutlery Studio - Observe the artisans’ craftsmanship up close at Hinoura Cutlery Workshop, a blacksmith shop with over a century of history, and receive a handmade mini hatchet (with optional name engraving) as a gift.

Additionally, a small machete crafted by a local artisan will be given as a souvenir.
