Great Experience! - First we had a walking tour of Soweto with our HOnest Travel Driver which was amazing and we earned so much about the history of the area, Nelson Mandella and the culture. He took us for an authentic Soweto lunch at an open air restaurant, did some shopping at open air shops and in an Art Gallery. later we bought veggies at an open air market which were the ingredients for our cooking experence. Ty is the Chef and greeted us in a third floor apartment of a refurbished manufacturing plant with a good white wine and then we got busy chopping up veggies and doing the meal prep for 5 different dishes. It was so fun and interesting to chat about the cooking experience but also to learn more about the area and the people. Loved the food! Chaka Luka, Mince, Chicken with Peri Peri sauce, Pap, and Collard Greens. Would do this again!
