DAY 1 - Arrive at the airport and enjoy a warm welcome before embarking on a scenic 2.5-hour drive through charming countryside dotted with quaint villages. Take a brief boat ride to reach Borneo Nature Lodge. Participate in an orientation session, enjoy a delicious lunch, and check in. Spend some time relaxing by the river before setting off on a boat journey at 4:00 PM along Sabah’s longest river, the Kinabatangan. This offers a wonderful chance to observe wildlife and birds in their pristine rainforest environment. Look out for various primate species, including the unique Proboscis Monkeys as they settle in the treetops. The Kinabatangan Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the premier locations in Southeast Asia for wildlife observation. Spend the night at Borneo Nature Lodge.

DAY 2 - Awaken to the sounds of birds, insects, and animals. At 6:00 AM, embark on a morning cruise up the Kinabatangan River to Kelenanap Ox-Bow Lake for bird watching and wildlife spotting. If the weather allows, take a brief jungle walk to experience Borneo’s wilderness before returning to the lodge for breakfast. Enjoy leisure time to explore the surrounding areas or visit a nearby village. In the late afternoon at 4:00 PM, take another boat cruise along the river to discover the diverse flora and fauna of the rainforest. Spend another night at Borneo Nature Lodge.

DAY 3 - After breakfast, check out and proceed to Sandakan Airport for your departure flight.
