A day devoted to exploring and understanding extra virgin olive oil: an initiative designed for those eager to experience the harvesting and pressing of olives at a family-operated company. This takes place in a region ideal for olive production, thanks to the well-established synergy of soil, climate, varietal, and human elements. Participants will visit the olive grove to learn about cultivation techniques and care, and take part in the olive harvest directly from the trees.

Next, the olives are transported to the oil mill in open plastic containers to prevent overheating. At the oil mill, there will be a presentation on the process of transforming olives into extra virgin olive oil. Participants will engage in a guided tasting session, learning the techniques for tasting EVO oil and other olive products.

The day concludes with the ultimate reward: complimentary samples of the product created during the day’s activities.
