A Coffee Lover’s Paradise

As a nomadic surfer, I’m always on the lookout for new adventures that take me off the beaten path. When I heard about the Ruta de Flores Tour in El Salvador, I knew it was something I had to experience. The promise of scenic mountain views and rich coffee culture was too tempting to resist. As someone who loves a good adrenaline rush, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to try the surf zipline. It was an exhilarating experience, soaring through the air with the wind in my hair and the stunning landscape below.

The tall swing was another highlight. It offers a unique perspective of the surrounding mountains, and the feeling of swinging high above the ground is both thrilling and peaceful. It’s moments like these that remind me why I love the nomadic lifestyle – the freedom to explore and experience new things.

After the adventures, I took some time to wander through the maze at Café Albania. It’s a fun and challenging activity that adds a playful element to the visit. The maze is beautifully designed, with hedges that tower above you, creating a sense of mystery and excitement.

A Taste of El Salvador

No trip to the Ruta de Flores would be complete without sampling the local cuisine. Our guide, Fernando, took us to a popular pupusa restaurant in the area. Pupusas are a traditional Salvadoran dish made of thick corn tortillas stuffed with a variety of fillings. They were delicious, and the perfect way to refuel after a day of adventure.

As we made our way back to San Salvador, I reflected on the day’s experiences. The Ruta de Flores had exceeded my expectations, offering a perfect blend of natural beauty, adventure, and culture. It’s a place that captures the essence of El Salvador and leaves you wanting more.
