Excellent attention - I went with my wife and one-year-old daughter and we were lucky enough that we were the only ones on that schedule. Although my daughter sometimes got a little desperate to want to grab all Fabricio she was very kind and I tried to give her things to entertain her. On the tour they give you a tour of the countryside, while explaining the history and process of making coffee and chocolate, and at the end they teach you how to prepare it. I made a very interesting, complete and educational tour, plus there is a small waterfall near the place where you can go for a dip after the tour.

t Like Family. The Best Tour Experience we had while in Costa Rica - We had the BEST time on this chocolate and coffee tour today! From the moment we got there, it didn’t feel like a typical tour at all, it felt like being welcomed in by family. Our guide was incredible. He learned everyone’s names almost instantly, kept us engaged the entire time, and made everything so fun and interactive. You can tell he truly loves what he does. He was also super knowledgeable and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand and actually interesting. The hands-on part was my favorite, we got to make chocolate, coffee, hot chocolate, and even learn about things like ginger, turmeric, and sugar cane. It wasn’t just watching, we were actually involved the whole time. And the best part? At the end there’s a beautiful waterfall where you can hang out, take your time, and even get in. No one is rushing you at all, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and genuine. This tour was such a highlight of our trip. I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone visiting, it’s fun, educational, and just an overall amazing experience!

Amazing tour - We purposely looked for a smaller / family ran type of tour and this far exceeded expectations. The tour guide, Fabricio, was super knowledgeable. The tour went through all stages of the chocolate making process, the tastings were very interesting. We had an absolute great time. They also offered us access to the waterfall / swimming hole which was also great.

We made some fantastic chocolates S part of the tour - A lovely family run coffee and chocolate tour. What made this so special was that after the tour we had the chance to make our own chocolates from the roasted cacao beans. The guides were so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about their farm, it was infectious. Nothing was too much trouble and when we struggled to get a taxi back to our hotel they went out of their way to book us an Uber which really helped us. If you want an authentic coffee and chocolate experience and get involved in the process, this is definitely the place to go.

Coffee, Cane, and Chocolate - Don Jorge and his family were amazing! Especially Daniel and his cousin Fabricio. They taught us how to make chocolate paste, takeout chocolate bar, and hot chocolate. They also let us make coffee and cane juice which was delicious! It was very interactive for adults and children. They also explained the history of coffee and chocolate and how I got from South America to other continents that was very interesting. After the tour and cheese-fed tortillas allow you to use your private trail to the private waterfall. We also saw toucans and hummingbirds and frogs! Hopefully I can go back to my whole family!
