On this bee tour in Costa Rica, participants will have the chance to delve into the intriguing world of these tiny pollinators. Led by a bee expert, attendees will learn about 20 native bee species that inhabit the area.
The project is designed with the primary goal of protecting and rescuing bee species. Don Edgar and Steven will provide insights into the efforts to conserve their habitat and maintain a healthy population.
During the tour, participants can observe the beehives and witness firsthand how bees produce honey and pollinate local flowers. There will also be an opportunity to watch the bees being fed and see how they extract honey from the combs.
Additionally, the tour features a demonstration of the process of extracting sweet cane juice, a key ingredient in honey production in the region.
