Amazing time!! - We had an amazing time on our horseback riding/waterfall tour with Danny and Pablo. Both Danny and Pablo went above and beyond to make our trip one we won't forget! We would definitely recommend this tour to anyone-make sure to ask for Danny and Pablo as your tour guides!

Horses, Hiking, and Waterfalls..OH MY! - Danny was a wonderful guide, we had a small group of 6 people and had the best time riding Thunder and Gilly (horses). Swimming in the pool with the La Fortuna waterfall in the background was unforgettable. Would do AGAIN!

Horseback riding La Fortuna Falls - It was an amazing experience. Daniel was our guide and was very patient and professional. As older hikers, we enjoyed the horseback ride but the hike into and out of La Fortuna was challenging. Not for the light hearted.

Our Favorite Tour! - My husband and I booked a 1pm tour, we were the only ones on that tour and it was awesome! Our tour guide, Paulo, was fantastic. He was friendly, knowledgeable and we couldn’t have asked for a better time! Highly recommend, the hike to the waterfall was beautiful as well, though may be a bit challenging for some as it is a bit steep, it was still a pleasant journey, and we got to swim after our trek down

Amazing experience. Our tour guide, Daniel, was great! - We rode together as a family, and it was such a great experience. Our tour guide, Daniel (Danny), paired us each with horses that were perfect for us. He was very knowledgeable about each horse's personality and took great care in explaining what to expect. My kids really loved it and had no problems riding. The horses were all very well behaved and trained. Daniel was also great at spotting animals for us to take pictures. Then the waterfall was epic! It was the perfect break - ride horses to the waterfall, take a short break and take in the views with a refreshing swim, then ride the horses back. Be prepared for a fairly steep hike back up from the waterfall. We were pretty winded, but it was so worth it. Take breaks coming back up if you have to, but don't miss it - it's such a beautiful view. So glad we booked this adventure, it was the highlight of our trip!

Wonderful way to experience the rainforest and waterfall! - I had such a great experience! The tour guide I had (I am so sad I forgot his name but I know he’s been doing the tour for 13 years) was so kind and informative and had a true passion for his profession. He took his time to stop and point out all of the wildlife and took videos for me of the monkeys! You also get to cross suspension bridges through the rain forest during the walking portion. It is definitely a bit of a hike to the waterfall which I enjoyed but might be challenging for some, but overall definitely a great experience for a very reasonable price!

Great time! - Danny took us out on Morrena and Goliath. He was so fun to hang out with, was very knowledgeable, and made the whole experience such a great time! The horses were easy to ride, the waterfall was beautiful but you definitely have to earn it because of the “500 steps” down and back up. The company was great to work with, I would recommend them!

A great experience - Loved this trip. The horses were gorgeous and looked healthy and happy which was great to see. We had Daniel and another guide (think Christophe?). They were both kind and friendly and we felt in safe hands. It was a fab trek through the forest to the waterfall. The steps to the waterfall were a bit challenging but the waterfall was definitely worth the trek. A great experience which we won’t forget. Thank you

Not a relaxing ride - Just okay. Didnt get much time to look for wildlife while the horses were nipping each other and racing through the forest. Thank goodness we are good riders. I wouldve taken another tour if i knew it was two hours at the waterfall and a race to get there and back.

Challenging hike after the horseback ride - We took this tour and paid 3x more than the regular entrance to the La Fortuna waterfall. We assumed that the horseback ride will make the hike to the waterfall easier. We were so wrong. The horseback riding part was fun. But the hike to the waterfall was many times harder than the steps you take after buying the regular entrance for the waterfall. Also hike does not bring you directly to the waterfall. You have to go around and over the wet rocks to get to the actual waterfall. La Fortuna waterfall is gorgeous and the guide ended up rushing us since hike took long. If I had to do it again, I would take the regular entrance to the La Fortuna waterfall, without guide and spend as much time as swimming at the waterfall. Keep the horseback riding as a separate activity, if you are interested in horseback riding.
