After receiving the security briefing, participants will embark on a 3 km (2 mile) journey, guided along a trail through reforested areas and private farms, leading to the Pino Blanco Waterfall viewpoint.

During the trek, travelers will enjoy the lush vegetation of mature forests along the La Fortuna River, traverse an exhilarating hanging bridge, and encounter various wildlife such as frogs, toucans, insects, and monkeys that inhabit the region.

Upon reaching the stunning La Fortuna Waterfall and river, there will be opportunities to take photographs, swim in the refreshing waters, or simply relax and appreciate the breeze and the scenic river canyon, which towers over 100 meters (320 ft.) high.

The return journey follows the same trail back to the reception area, offering another chance to admire the beautiful Pino Blanco Waterfall.

On the way back, visitors can explore the Maleku Indian Cultural Rescue Center. This small, representative project provides insights into the traditional attire, culture, crafts, beliefs, and language of Costa Rica’s cultural ancestors.

No prior horseback riding experience is required for this thrilling adventure. Guides will offer basic riding instructions and instill confidence in participants. The healthy and gentle horses ensure a pleasant ride.
