Absolutely fantastic coffee tour! - Absolutely fantastic tour. Axel was extremely knowledgeable and so friendly and welcoming for questions. Marta explained local plants, culture, and of course every aspect of coffee from seed to cup. She shared her home with us and we roasted coffee, then enjoyed a delicious brewed cup. This was an exceptional tour!

Coffee and an adventure - This was truly a remarkable experience. It was incredible to see the hard work that goes into your morning cup of coffee. We took the 4x4 option and had a blast riding in the truck up to the coffee plantation with our guide and the owner Marta. She is wonderful and taught us so much. Our tour guide Axel is a gem. This was our second tour with him and he goes above and beyond with his background knowledge. Highly recommend!

Great experience all... - Great experience all around. Everything was easy to find, and the guides were very knowledgeable. Not only did they explain the coffee process, but also would point out various plants around us as we walked to the farm. Going to the farmer's house was a cool experience as well, allowing us to roast and grind our own coffee beans to make our coffee.

Bean to coffee experience! - It has been a plant-to-coffer experienced. I get to see the coffee farm and knowing the process of growing the coffee beans. In th end I roasted and grinded the coffee, and make jt into a cup of coffee. My guide Axel arranged the tour very well although I am the only one in the tour. He is knowledgeable and very patient translating between the coffee former and myself. Definitely for people who want to know more about coffee.

An absolute must - If you could do only two things while you are in Antigua, this activity must be in your list. Some suggestions: - definitely choose the 4x4 option as the drive up into the coffee fields is most definitely worth it, - if you are lucky, you get Axel as your tour guide which is a show onto itself, Everything about the trip was special - seeing the coffee grow, and then spending time in the farmer’s home actually roasting and grinding it by hand and then getting to drink it - an absolute must.

Great coffee tour. Would recommend the farmer and guide! - We thoroughly enjoyed our coffee tour! It was just my husband and I. Our guide translated everything for us and she spoke English very well. The tour was very thorough and we learned a lot about the coffee process, history of coffee in Guatemala, and the culture. We loved that this was a small local farm and we could contribute. The walk up the hill was very short and they made stops along the way to educate us about different plants and things we saw along the way.

A wonderful coffee experience - The coffee tour was really a great experience. First we went on a short hike up the volcano to see a coffee farm. My guide and the coffee farmer identified all sorts of interesting plants along the way, and the view was gorgeous. Once we got to the coffee farm, we saw how the coffee is grown and learned about the plants. Then the farmer brought us back to her house for a demonstration of coffee sorting and roasting. At the end, we drank fresh coffee and had some cookies and I was able to purchase some coffee to bring home with me. All in all a very memorable experience and I'm so glad I went.

Fabulous tour around the theme of coffee - Our guide Axel took us into the fascinating world of coffee cultivation. We particularly liked the fact that we were able to roast, grind and taste our own coffee in the end. Highly recommended!

For coffee lovers 🥰 - This tour was the best experience of our whole five days in Antigua. Axel was super knowledgeable, funny, and spoke perfect English. He introduced us to Filiberto, proprietor of a small, family-owned coffee farm. Filiberto was kind and charming and treated us like family. After learning about the growing process, we roasted, prepared, and drank coffee. 10/10 recommend!
