WORTH IT!! Indian Nose Sunrise Hike - Fantastic!
But that last 400meters is NO JOKE!
When Vick said it was very hard, he was telling the Truth!
Everything about it was WORTH IT!!

Wandering off in the dark... - Wandering off in the dark down a very rough trail with a stranger at 4 in the morning was a little intimidating but Victor got us to the top! The sunrise was a bit cloudy but there some cool moments.

Wonderful experience - Great activity THINGS TO DO in Lake Atitlan. Vick is very attentive, speaks very good English. He came to pick us up directly from our hotel, hiking for about 45min before getting to the top first. We had hot chocolate/coffee with each an artisan roll. We started from the top the last, allowing us to enjoy the view. On the descent Vick shows us coffee plantations and the way to do it, makes us take a different path to show us and explain the ways of living of local villages. I highly recommend it.
*Toilets available at the end of the hike*

Indian nose sunrise hike - Such an incredible experience and will forever be a core memory. Vick was our guide and it was a small group, just 4 girls! He was very considerate of everyone’s athletic abilities and made sure we all stuck together and no one was left behind. He was punctual and spoke fantastic English. I appreciate that he took time to take many pictures of my friend and I, this tour is 100% worth it!

BEAUTIFULLL - This tour was really lovely! The drivers were on time and our guide was so sweet and supportive he stopped multiple times while going up and check in every 10 or so minutes! The top is worth the trek and the views are unbelievable, would recommend 10/10!!

This was such an amazing... - This was such an amazing experience! Yes, it did require us to wake up at 2:30 AM to make sure we get from Pana to San Pedro on time, but Vick was AMAZING and helped us coordinate a private boat at 3:30 AM! He was such an amazing tour guide, explaining the meaning behind the name and why the mountain is important in the Mayan culture. The sunrise definitely makes up for waking up early and the tiring hike. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone spending time in Lake Atitlan.

Breathtaking Views - The Most Authentic and Thoughtful Sunrise Experience at Lake Atitlán – Thanks to Victor - Breathtaking Views & a Truly Heartfelt Experience – Sunrise Hike with Victor is a Must!
If you’re planning to hike Indian’s Nose at Lake Atitlán, there is no better guide than Victor. This tour was the perfect blend of stunning natural beauty, local history, and heartfelt hospitality — all made possible by Victor’s warmth, knowledge, and incredible dedication to creating an unforgettable experience.
From the very beginning, Victor’s communication was prompt, clear, and incredibly helpful. He coordinated pickup times with flexibility and patience, even adjusting the schedule to fit our needs. On the day of the hike, everything was seamless — we felt completely taken care of.
Victor’s deep connection to the land and his expert local knowledge made a huge difference. Thanks to his shortcuts and insider routes, we were the first ones to arrive at the summit, securing the most peaceful, uncrowded view of the sunrise — and wow, was it worth it. Watching the sky ignite above the lake and surrounding volcanoes in quiet awe was a moment I’ll never forget.
At the top, Victor surprised us with free coffee and a light breakfast, which was both thoughtful and much appreciated after the early morning climb. His picture-taking skills were top-notch too — we walked away with some truly breathtaking photos that captured the magic of the moment.
But beyond the logistics and scenery, what really stood out was Victor’s kindness and genuine love for his culture and community. He made us feel embraced and welcomed, like we weren’t just tourists, but part of something more meaningful. He took the time to share stories about the history of Lake Atitlán, the indigenous traditions of the area, and even the small details of daily life in the villages below.
Victor goes above and beyond to ensure that every detail is covered and that you walk away with not only incredible memories but a deeper connection to the place and its people. If you want the real, soulful Lake Atitlán sunrise experience — book with Victor. We’re so grateful for him and can’t recommend this hike enough!

Amazing Views - The sunrise and view were the highlight of our trip. Words and pictures can’t do it justice. The only reason I’m not giving the experience a 5 is because our tour guide was ill at the last minute and it was confusing to figure out which van and tour guide to go with. Would still recommend!

Not as described - We booked the tour after reading lots of excellent reviews and knowing Vick spoke English. Unfortunately Vick had outsourced the tour to a local guide who was nice but didn’t speak any English. Disappointing.

Vick is shady, save yourself money & effort - go with Benjy tours - I was not impressed with Vick.
Being solo, I wasn’t able to book the Indian nose sunrise tour for 1 person on Viator, so I messaged Vick in WhatsApp to enquire. I then booked it for $47USD (350Q). Great. On the morning of, he told me it was $50USD. What? He tried to say something about the exchange rate. I screenshotted our messages, and the tour page that said $47 and he said “ok $47”.
Perhaps check out Benjy tours… WhatsApp +502 5696 6252. I found out that they charge 100Q, which is more than 3 times cheaper. The tours are all the same, not much info is provided. They pretty much pick you up & a guide hikes up together with you.
The sunrise was beautiful though. And I appreciated the hot chocolate, which everyone received.
