• Piedras Rojas - We will ascend to an impressive altitude of 4,000 meters above sea level to reach Piedras Rojas, a remarkable geological formation known for its vibrant red rocks that contrast beautifully with the turquoise waters of the surrounding lake. Here, you will have the chance to explore this surreal landscape and take breathtaking photographs.
• Laguna Miñiques - Our ascent continues to nearly 4,200 meters above sea level, where the stunning Miscanti and Miñiques Altiplanic Lagoons await. These picturesque high-altitude lagoons, located in the Los Flamencos National Reserve, offer breathtaking panoramic views, surrounded by majestic mountains and home to diverse wildlife. It’s an ideal spot for birdwatching and soaking in the region’s natural beauty.
• Iglesia de Socaire - Next, we will visit the charming town of Socaire.
• Laguna Chaxa - Our journey then takes us to the captivating Laguna Chaxa, part of the expansive Salar de Atacama. This saline lagoon is a haven for flamingos and other aquatic birds, drawn by its high salt and nutrient content. Here, you can observe these magnificent birds in their natural habitat and appreciate the unique flora and fauna of the area.
• Salar de Atacama - The Salar de Atacama, Chile’s largest salt flat and one of the largest in the world, will greet us with its stunning salt landscapes and vast horizons. We will enjoy a delightful breakfast and lunch in this extraordinary setting while exploring the fascinating salt formations and marveling at the vastness of the landscape.
• San Pedro de Atacama - After our exploration, we will return to San Pedro de Atacama, where you will be dropped off near the municipal parking lot, allowing you to continue exploring the charming town or return to your hotel at your leisure. Alternatively, our private service can take you directly to your hotel.
