• San Pedro de Atacama - The tour begins with an early morning hotel pickup by van from San Pedro de Atacama, specifically from hotels located near the urban area. The journey heads north to El Tatio, taking approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.

The El Tatio Geyser Field is situated over 14,000 feet above sea level in the Andes Mountains of northern Chile. The drive there is an adventure in itself, with scenic, winding mountain roads flanked by snow-capped active and dormant volcanic peaks. The underground magma heats a water source, leading to an explosive release of pressure.

• Geyser del Tatio - Arriving at the geyser field at sunrise offers the most breathtaking views. In the chilly morning air, each geyser is crowned with a white steam column that fades as the temperature rises. Visitors have about two hours to explore the field, admire the geothermal phenomena, and take photos. A light breakfast is provided, typically featuring a ham and cheese sandwich, biscuit, fruit, juice, tea, and coffee.

After spending around three hours at El Tatio, the tour returns towards San Pedro de Atacama, with a stop in the village of Machuca.

• Machuca - Enjoy approximately an hour in this quaint village, home to about 10 residents. Explore at your own pace, visiting the wooden church, a few adobe houses with thatched roofs, and an artisan shop. For those interested, a llama empanada, a local delicacy, is available for purchase.

Finally, the tour returns to San Pedro de Atacama.
