- San Pedro de Atacama - In the afternoon, the journey begins to discover one of the world’s driest and most challenging regions: the Atacama Desert. Here, visitors will explore geological formations shaped by the unique combination of clay and salt.
- Reserva Nacional de Flamencos - Within the Flamencos National Reserve lies the world-famous Valle de la Luna, a natural sanctuary featuring landscapes of incomparable beauty that resemble a fragment of the lunar surface, from which it takes its name.
- Valle De La Luna - Once inside the reserve, visitors will encounter a geological phenomenon known as the Salt Mountain Range and admire the scenery from various viewpoints. The route passes the ‘Amphitheatre’, a structure evoking Roman civilization, sculpted by nature from rock and salt. Standing over 40 metres high, it can be seen from miles away!
- The three Marias Valley of the Moon - Mysterious forms of salt and mud begin to emerge as the area of “Las Tres Marías” is approached. The delicacy of the clay becomes apparent while visiting these natural formations, sculptures carved by nature: these statues are the female guardians of this cosmic landscape.
- Duna Atacama - Next, visitors walk on the Great Dune, from where the Andes, the Domeyko mountain range, and the Salt mountain range can be seen.
- Mirador de Kari, Piedra del Coyote - On the way back to San Pedro de Atacama, a stop is made at the Kari lookout point “Piedra del Coyote”. For the perfect closure of the ‘Small-Group’ tour, the dusk is admired; visitors get ready to see how all the colours change in the desert! Located at 2,550 metres above sea level, this viewpoint is one of the most famous postcards of San Pedro de Atacama, offering a great panoramic view of the Salt Mountain Range, where water, wind, and temperature combined their forces to produce this fascinating canyon.
- San Pedro de Atacama - At the end of the trip, visitors are driven back to San Pedro de Atacama. Schedules are estimated. Attractions may be visited in a different order.
