This 2-hours horseback riding tour makes a journey into the tropical rain forest of the Sierra Madre and the town of Sayulita, far from the tourists of Puerto Vallarta, for an ecological ride that will leave you wanting more. At the ranch, you’ll embark down a jungle trail, laden with beautiful tropical foliage. You’ll visit a beautiful river. Jungle and beach horseback ride - Jose was a fun and fantastic guide for our ride through the jungle to the beach. He gave great and clear instructions on how to guide the horse. I’ve been horseback riding before (not my favorite activity) and this is by far the best instruction I’ve had. My daughter (16) loves riding and had an amazing time. They did a great job selecting the appropriate horse for each person. It was a small group and fantastic. The photographer took the most incredible photos. Very memorable experience. Highly recommend.

Wonderful golden hour beach ride - My two daughters (12, 18) and I booked the sunset ride, and we were not disappointed. We had a small group of 10 riders, including us and our two gracious guides, Jorge y Jose. It was a little scary riding through the forest to the beach! There were lots of skinny trails and tight squeezes, and some loud cars and motorbikes passing by when we were on the roads, but those bomb-proof horses couldn’t care less. They were sure-footed and followed the path easily.
The beach was beautiful and you could tell the horses wanted to tear it up. We all waited at one end of the beach while one guide would take one rider to the other end and help them gallop back to the group. My youngest (12 yrs old) galloped for her first time like a champ. It was a thrilling experience!
The ride back was similar but a little less technical and again the horses just trotted along and got us home safely.
Jorge and Jose were both excellent guides, kind and chatty, in very good English.
The photos were beautiful- they work that golden hour 💅
The tequila tasting was very informative, but by that point we were too tired for tequila! Maybe next time if we do a day time ride.

highly recommend. - My daughter and I had a wonderful time. The guides were very kind and patient and made everyone feel safe at all times. Arriving at the beach through the jungle was breathtaking. This experience is a core memory we won't forget from this special trip. It was appreciated that they provided transportation to and from our accommodations.

Best tour ever - Absolutely amazing experience. From the wonderful staff (Antonio, Jorge, Manuel & the photography team), to the beautiful horses, amazing beach & thrilling ride…the best tour I’ve ever gone on in any of my vacations!

Great for a date - Antonio and team were great hosts, and we loved riding through both the jungle trails, and on the beach at sunset. They had a good photo team leap-frogging to capture moments. So if you’re not camera shy, you come out with some great photos! They even gave us an opportunity to gallop on the beach which I hadn’t done in 30 years, but it came back naturally. For less experienced riders, they gave a side-by-side assist to keep the horses and the guests calm and safe galloping. That is of course optional, but my girlfriend did it and we have a great shot of her riding faster on the beach wind blowing in her hair. Thanks y’all!

Best sayulita experience - This was one of the best experiences I have ever done. The horses were beautiful and very well taken care of. I felt very safe. And then the ranchers/Cowboys were top-notch.

Jorge and the Photographer are awesome - Wow. Top 5 experiences in my life. Made my entire Mexico trip. Every cent I spent on coming to Mexico was worth it for this. Jorge was awesome, and the photographer captured the best photos I’ve ever seen of myself. My friends and family were amazed and I made my first Instagram post. Highly recommend.

Great guides! Once you... - Great guides! Once you get beyond the beautiful jungle, you’ll find your way to the prettiest private-like beach where the waves come up and they’ll let you gallop. Photographer got great shots too!

Jungle-Beach Horseback adventure - We thoroughly enjoyed our adventure to Sayulita to ride through the jungle area toward a small local black beach on the Pacific side. Our guides/vaqueros were careful to ensure everyone's safety whether an experienced rider or not. The only thing that would be better is if saddles/stirrups were fitted or adjusted for height to make the ride more comfortable. Otherwise - our time was well spend seeing areas we would not have experienced otherwise. Our "paparazzi", photographer, was EXCELLENT at his job and I think worked harder than anyone . . other than the horses!!!

group too big, had about... - group too big, had about 15 ppl. not at all small group like advertised. experiences listed were not honored, just walked on horse back nose to tail the whole time
