Cascada de Peguche - The next stop is the Peguche waterfall, where a scenic hour-long walk leads to this captivating site.

Otavalo Market - The final destination is the ponchos market in Otavalo, renowned as the largest indigenous fair in South America. Here, over three thousand artisans showcase their crafts. Visitors will have ample time to explore and purchase items of interest. Before heading back to Quito, a typical local lunch will be enjoyed. The service is private, and all tours are conducted by a professional, certified guide.

From Quito to Mindo

Mariposas de Mindo - Departing Quito early, within two hours, visitors can immerse themselves in Mindo’s biodiversity, enjoy a traditional breakfast, and visit the Mindo butterfly sanctuary to learn about these insects and their environmental significance.

Mindo Nambillo Cloud Forest Reserve - The second stop is the waterfall sanctuary, where a trek of just over two hours through Mindo’s cloud forest allows for the enjoyment of nature and the beauty of its crystal-clear waterfalls, perfect for a refreshing swim.

El Quetzal de Mindo with Chocolate Tour - The tour concludes with a visit to the Quetzal chocolate tour, offering an insight into the chocolate-making process from cocoa to its delicious derivatives.

Intinan Museum - On the return journey to Quito, a stop at the Intiñan Museum is included.

Quito to Quilotoa

Laguna Quilotoa - This stunning lagoon is nestled in the crater of the Quilotoa volcano, part of the Chugchilan mountain range. Its waters are highly mineralized, preventing fish and bird life. The adventure begins early, as the destination is nearly three hours from the capital. The trip offers beautiful landscapes, leading to the lagoon’s viewpoint, where a 45-minute descent to the shore begins. The journey showcases the magnificent Andean scenery surrounding the lagoon. Once at the shore, kayaking is an optional activity. After ample time, the return ascent takes about two hours, with necessary precautions. The tour continues to Baños.

Galeria del Primer Pintor de Tigua - “Julio Toaquiza Tigasi” - Before reaching Quilotoa, a visit to the art gallery of renowned Tigua painter Julio Toaquiza is included.

La Casa del Arbol - The tour includes a visit to the tree house with the famous “end of the world” swing, offering stunning views and photo opportunities.

Baños

Pastaza River - The day begins at 9 am with rafting on the Pastaza River, guided by specialists and preceded by an introductory session. The activity concludes with a group lunch and a return to Baños around 3:00 pm. In the evening, exploring Baños’ nightlife is optional.

Baños

CASCADA EL PAILON - The next destination is the renowned Devil’s Pailon waterfall, with a two-hour round-trip hike to its majestic cascade. Afterward, lunch is enjoyed in Baños before returning to Quito.

Quito to Papallacta

Termas de Papallacta - Located 65km from Quito, the Papallacta resort offers stops along the way to admire the Andean landscape and capture photographs. The route traverses a vast plain surrounded by Polylepis mountain ranges and forests. Upon arrival, visitors can relax in the Spa’s therapeutic waters amidst the mountains and nature. Before returning to Quito, a stop is made to savor local cuisine, including chicken or trout broth, with the option to fish for trout, providing a unique experience. The day concludes with a return to Quito after an incredible experience. The service is private, and all tours are led by a professional, certified guide.
