Great classical venues - What a fun time with Lara! Enjoyed having some typical Argentine food at classic Buenos Aires venues. Especially liked the empanadas.

Nice food tour in Buenos Aires - Great time and great food. There was only 4 of us so we were not crowded. Tons to eat(entire ribeye). Really like the explanations of the area. Lara was a great host.

Lara was great! - Lara was an exceptional guide, very informative about the history of Buenos Aires and the culture of Argentina. Her English was excellent, and she was a great help with transportation during and after the tour. She was very friendly, kind and funny and we feel like we have a new friend. We wish her all the best in her studies and future career. She gets 10 stars.

We had a wonderful tour with Freddy - We had an excellent tour with Freddy. It was wonderful to try out Argentine special foods! We were a little disappointed because Argentine beef is really good and we got only 2 small pieces.

More of a food stop then tour. - The food was good and there was plenty of it. When I think of a food tour, I think of going to multiple locations and having small bites at each. In this version we had 2 stops one for our dinner and one which was famous four gelato. It was good, but I would have preferred going to multiple restaurants instead of just one.

Not really a tour, it all took place at one restaurant - This food tour was not a tour at all. We stayed in one restaurant and had several dishes as the same restaurant. Nothing in the description said this and it is unusual for a food tour. We did go to an ice cream shop for desert.

Underwhelmed - The food at the first restaurant, The Immortals, was very mediocre, with inattentive service. Additionally, tt was unoriginal—just empanadas and meat. The second planned stop (a coffee shop) was closed for the January 1 holiday, but we weren't informed in advance, nor were we offered a discount or substitute. The final stop was an ice cream shop, which was very good, but there was little commentary or context. Our guide was a nice college student, but she lacked the knowledge or personality to elevate the experience beyond the mediocre food. There was nothing special about this tour—little meaningful cultural or historical information—and she was soft-spoken, making her difficult to hear over the restaurant noise. We estimated the cost of the food for our family of four at about $100, with no additional $260 worth of value. Overall, I would not recommend this tour.
