Private Visit round the island by buggy - Went on a private tour for two with Jorge. Absolutely brilliant, he took us to the Parque Punta Sur. he explained everything and buggy was brilliant with roof, reminded me of my Mazda mx5 that I used to own. Visited lighthouse, crocodile lagoon, but no one home, then amazing beach where we snorkled and swam with his guidance. Then up the east coast and we asked for special stop at the Hard Rock Cafe, as we love them. He waited and brought us back. Great day

Buggy around the island with chino!!! Totes & Tequila !! - 5 out of 5 !! Chino was wonderful, we love going to see William at the tequila tasting !! And exploring the other side of the island beautiful , climbed the lighthouse 133 stairs to see the views & driving a buggy in Mexico !!

Best Excursion of our trip!! - Best excursion of the trip. Met up outside the port as mentioned. My wife, myself and 19 year old son in one car and another couple in a second car. Both were small cars that had the roofs removed and no doors. Ours was a pink Nissan that you see in other reviews. So we didn't get caught up in the fact it wasn't a "dune buggy" like some. You can see in the other review pictures the cars vary. The car wasn't the focus of the tour for us anyway. The other couple had the tour guide drive there car and my son drove ours. He was the only one of the 3 of us that had a license, I left mine on the ship, didn't even think about it. Before we even left our guide showed us a map of the island, where we would all go, what we'd do, so we knew what to expect. The tequila tasting was good, we saw the alligators, lighthouse, stopped at some stands, stopped for pictures and had beach time and a meal at a resort, which you were able to order off a menu. Drinks were extra, but no biggie. The whole time the guide would ask if there was anything we wanted to do, see, etc. Also had a cooler of beer and water for us the whole day. Very flexible so I'm not sure why some feel they didn't get everything. Just ask if you want to stop or see something. Driving through another country in an open air car taking in all the sites was an experience of it's own that we'll never forget, especially our son who drove the whole time.

Fun and flexible day!! - This was one of the best things we did on our trip! Edwin was our guide and he was great at listening to what we had in mind and taking us to some very cool sites that he hadn't originally planned. He was kind, patient and funny. We were a little concerned that the buggies didn't have all the necessary seat belts but we all made it safely back. We wish he had had more water in place of the beer but we all stayed hydrated. It was a very fun day!

Johnny was a wonderful... - Johnny was a wonderful guide. All his suggestions for stops were spot on. A great experience, would highly recommend him for any future tours.

Good but did not get vehicle that was advertised - The experience was great. The tour guide was very knowledgeable but the vehicle that is in advertisement is not the vehicle I was picked up in. Overall the tour was great but I was in a convertible Chevrolet sonic

Wasn't as advertised. - We did some of the things listed but definitely not all of them. Didn't travel in a beach buggy of any sorts. Received no "tour". No ceviche. Snorkeling was kind of a joke. All in all very disappointing.

This is not what they are advertising. - This was not the excursion advertised. This was originally published as a “dune buggy tour” with pictures of an orange VW dune buggy. We booked it because we own a dune buggy and wanted to experience Cozumel riding around in one. The day of we waited over an hour after our tour start time. The name of the guide changed 4 times. When our guide finally showed we were led to a filthy chopped up car that he called a dune buggy and he was going to be driving us around instead of us driving the dune buggy following a guide. The day turned out to be a waste. Don’t be caught by this bait and switch operation.

Scam! Do not book! - Not organized in any way. Very misleading. We had 11 of us and I was assured that we would have dune buggies. There were no dune buggies. Only modified Nissan cars to look like off road vehicles. No plan of where to go. She took us to liquor tasting so that her friends could pitch their way over priced garbage on us. Then off to get $18 Mohito's that actually tasted good. Problem was we were driving in the city. She had us running red lights just to keep up. "She ran them too". Never saw snorkeling and when I asked, she laughed. Basically, $890. For a tour around Cozumel. Would be fine if that's what we paid for but we were sold "dune buggy/snorkeling " tour. We made the best of it but I really feel like she ripped us off.

Rubbish and waste of money - Was very disappointed. 175 dollars wasted. We were picked up in a dirty uncomfortable “buggy” and the driver asked us what we wanted to do… no real plan apart from taking us to the nature reserve and to see a lighthouse. He recommended one restaurant to us which we got ripped off in. No snorkelling beaches or free food as agreed part of the excursion. I had understood we would be driving the buggy ourselves , which wasn’t the case. It was so bad we asked him to drop us back to our hotel after 2 hours.
