A New Way to Glide Through the Caribbean

As someone who has spent countless hours riding the waves, the idea of exploring the underwater world with a sea scooter was too tempting to resist. I found myself in San Miguel de Cozumel, ready to embark on the Cozumel Sea Scooter Adventure. The promise of effortlessly gliding through the vibrant marine life of Cozumel was enough to get my heart racing.

Upon arrival at La Monina, the starting point of our adventure, I was greeted by Adolfo and his assistant Memo, who were as warm and welcoming as the Caribbean sun. They briefed us on the day’s plan, and I could feel the excitement building among the group. The sea scooters were sleek and powerful, promising a unique snorkeling experience. As we geared up, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of anticipation for the underwater wonders that awaited.

After our underwater escapade, we returned to La Monina for a well-deserved lunch. The fajitas were delicious, and the horchata was refreshing, a perfect way to refuel after an exhilarating morning. As we savored our meal, Adolfo shared stories of the island’s rich Mayan culture and history, adding depth to our experience.

The day concluded with a tequila tasting, a fitting end to a day of exploration and discovery. As I sipped on the various flavors, I couldn’t help but plan my next adventure. The idea of an evening snorkel was enticing, and I knew I would be back to explore more of Cozumel’s underwater treasures.
