Great for Experienced Snorkelers who are not limited in mobility - I really enjoyed this experience. The crew was professional and we saw turtles, rays, starfish and many other types of fish. The length of the tour was perfect. The amount of people on the boat was manageable. There are 3 snorkeling stops and the first one was in choppy water. You have to jump out of the side of the boat and get back in via a ladder in choppy water. This was a bit scarry. Also getting in and out of the boat at the dock was kind of an ordeal. If you have any mobility issues, you need to be aware of this. I think they could improve on this experience. The snorkeling was really great and the food they served for lunch was also very good.

Book it! Safe, easy, fun! - I booked this excursion for my dad’s 70th birthday cruise. For stressing parents who don’t go outside of the US often, this group (Cozumel dive center) was amazing… on time and beyond expectation. They made my parents feel comfortable and I had a blast too! Tons of wildlife, amazing food and drinks, great people. Communication was easy and straight forward. We really had a great time and got amazing photos. We loved Fernanda, Darwin, and Mike (boat operators) and the tour group organizing it was also extremely professional.

Our crew was absolutely... - Our crew was absolutely amazing! They were funny, safe practices and overall good company. The food was amazing, the snorkeling was incredible and the pictures made everything so much better. Drinks were also on point and much needed after the weaker drinks on our ship 🤣. Would totally book again and would love to have the same crew.

Do it! - Maui was a wonderful tour guide! I can't believe how much positive energy he has. They are very respectful to the animals as well. A very fun experience. I suggest getting a full face snorkel mask for yourself. The water was beautiful. And the small lunch for us very yummy.

Good For Quick Snorkel Trip (just ok for kids) - Positives: - Boat was well equipped with life jackets and quality snorkel gear (no fins). - Made 3 stops and were able to see multiple sea life: turtles, stingrays, star fish. - For a 4 hour tour we felt like we had enough time at each stop. - Beers and snacks at last stop was a nice send off. Cons: - We had 2 kids with us ( 12 and 9) who are new to snorkeling and excursions like this. I felt like there was a big rush to “jump off the boat”. No ladder was immediately offered to walk down and my youngest was scared having never done it. I wish there was a little more patience with this or kindness in helping him feel more comfortable. - I read from other reviews the big push to purchase the expensive photos at the end (which we didn’t plan to do). I asked at the beginning how much the photos would be and didn’t receive an answer. My 9 year old was still getting use to the water and waves and getting use to his equipment when the photographer hurried us to all go underwater for a photo paying no attention that maybe he wasn’t comfortable or ready yet. I kept politely declining the photos and do feel like it made us get less-than great attention by the end. - We would have appreciated if the excursion was more informative. They didn’t provide any information regarding the sea life, habitats, area, etc. It would have been nice especially for the kids to have heard something here and there. Tips: - Make sure you bring cash for the dock fees and meet at the front of the front of the El CID hotel if that is your meeting g point. We knew this ahead of time but saw others running late or confused. - Apply sunscreen before getting on boat, they don’t allow it past the dock in order to protect the reef. - Wear rash guards to keep from getting burnt.

Adventurous, Fun & Sunburnt - Adventurous day. Pros - first spot was excellent, saw fish, turtles, even a small shark. Beautiful snorkeling. Staff was friendly and helpful. Best for families with older kids due to small waves and mild currents. Food was delicious. Last stop you stand waist deep in a sandbar surrounded by stingrays and a margarita. Amazing! Cons- small boat, no bathroom (tough over four hours!) Be ready to get a bit wet. Sunscreen rules are strict. Even if you apply well before the boat, you cannot apply on the boat to protect the reef. Most of us didn’t have a sun guard and didn’t have time to buy one. We all got pretty red. You can get pretty great photos, but they are EXPENSIVE ($100+) Know that going in. If you’re not going to buy then just skip taking them. Recommend, but will have a better time with older kids and if everyone has Sun protection. And hit the bathroom before you go.

Estafa - I went out on the boat with the guide (Maui) and I'm upset about this trip, as it left much to be desired. To begin with, they should better train the staff who operate the boat. It seemed like we were going to capsize, and the captain seemed desperate. On the other hand, they focus more on the people taking pictures. I agreed, but honestly, the prices are crazy, and I feel like they were trying to rip me off with the prices for the photos. They wanted to charge us $130 when they gave them to other people for $75. It wasn't fair. I really don't recommend this tour because of this treatment.
