Fun and informative! - Went on a fun and informative tour with Sam. He was very knowledgeable not only about chocolate and how it's made, but a lot of the history of San Miguel and the surrounding areas. You will try not only delicious chocolate in candy form, but also in mole' and ice cream as well. Sam was awesome and very helpful with general knowledge and questions regarding our stay as well.

Take the Chocolate and Cobblestones Tour - Sam has such a unique background as an historian and he is a pastry chef. His unique take on SMA food, culture, and history was both informative and fascinating. Loved where we went, things we learned, the stories behind the chocolate and of course the tastes. Pretty delicious. Sam relays information in a creative way with a sense of humor. Definitely a 5 out of 5 tour!

Great and Tasty Time! - Our family of 6 (and 3 generations) really enjoyed our Chocolate and Cobblestones tour with Sam. There was a nice variety of food (a chocolate store, chocolate drink, mole, ice cream and a chocolate croissant). We enjoyed learning about the city (facts and sites we did not get on our two hour walking tour the day before) from an American ex-pat who was able to share some very interesting notes and stories with us. Come hungry!

Sam was a great tour... - Sam was a great tour guide! So much good chocolate! He also pointed out (non-chocolate) spots of interest that he thought we’d enjoy along the way. Very knowledgeable and fun. Highly recommend this tour.

Awesome Guide but Average Spots - Sam, our tour guide, was amazing—very knowledgeable and clearly passionate about what he does. However, I think the touring company could do a better job selecting more unique stops. The locations included in the tour felt fairly average, commercialized, and common, and they came across as choices made mainly to fit within a budget.
