Great and Tasty Time! - Our family of 6 (and 3 generations) really enjoyed our Chocolate and Cobblestones tour with Sam. There was a nice variety of food (a chocolate store, chocolate drink, mole, ice cream and a chocolate croissant). We enjoyed learning about the city (facts and sites we did not get on our two hour walking tour the day before) from an American ex-pat who was able to share some very interesting notes and stories with us. Come hungry!

Sam was a great tour... - Sam was a great tour guide! So much good chocolate! He also pointed out (non-chocolate) spots of interest that he thought we’d enjoy along the way. Very knowledgeable and fun. Highly recommend this tour.

Chocolate and Friends Day! - During this tour, we learned a lot and had a fantastic experience. Our guide, Eliza, was friendly, fun, and very attentive to all of us. She took us through the history of chocolate, starting with its origins here in Mexico. The tour was full of surprises, including chocolate drinks, tastings, delicious food, engaging conversations, and wonderful people. My only suggestion for the tour company is to avoid repeating the same restaurants, as we visited one place twice on different tours. Overall, it was a lot of fun. Book now!

Chocolate from Mexico to the world! - Fabulous experience! Elisa did a great job telling us the story of chocolate and how it travelled around the world. Loved the chocolate places we visited each carefully selected to demonstrate the story. A real show and tell! Thank you!

Loved learning about the history of chocolate in Mexico. The food was also great. - My husband and I went on the Chocolate and cobblestones tour with the wonderful Alisa as our guide. The food tour included a chocolate drink, artesenal chocolate truffles, a chocolate pastry, black mole enmolados, agua fresco, and local hand crafted ice cream. The food was wonderful and we equally enjoyed learning about the history of cacao and chocolate in Mexico (and around the world).

Terrifically Tasty Tour! - We had a fantastic time on this tour! You really get to experience the tastes and history of chocolate in its many forms, visiting coffee shops, cafes, bakeries and more! I think the mole enchiladas at lunch were my favorite. And Elisa is so charming and knowledgeable with a treasure trove of stories to share. You will love her and this entire tour.

Chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate with some history mixed in. - While my husband and a friend were getting a painting lesson, my friend and I decided to indulge ourselves with CHOCOLATE and a tour. Elisa Torres, our guide, was exceptional. We learned in a very interesting way about chocolate and its history upon the world. I was enthralled with her story-telling abilities. The chocolate was amazing. I had never had Mole and it was an experience. If you like chocolate this is the tour for you.

Enjoyed learning the history, but not super impressed with the chocolate - Our guide seemed quite knowledgeable about the history of chocolate, which seemed to be the main focus of her tour, and we appreciated that. There was some nice variety to the types of food and drinks we tried. We especially enjoyed with special fruit waters we were welcomed to purchase during our break! The flavors were exotic and so tasty, and the cost was only about 30-35 pesos, I believe, for a small cup. The setting was delightful for the break. As for the chocolate we got to taste, unfortunately, the selections didn't seem very special or tasty to our palates. Also, the variety seemed lacking to us, in terms of the individual items we were offered. I especially enjoyed the chocolate croissant, but we didn't find the chocolate truffles, hot cocoa, mole to be very tasty or exceptional, and the quantities weren't especially generous either. Tasting the ice cream was kind of fun, though, and I enjoyed the Marigold flavored ice cream in particular.
