- Tres Raíces - Guests will be transported from San Miguel de Allende to one of the finest local vineyards in Valle de La Independencia, located about thirty minutes away. The tour will encompass the stunning winery, both inside and out, showcasing its distinctive character, impressive architecture, and breathtaking views. Visitors will stroll through the fields, inhaling the aroma of the vines and grapes (during the green seasons of spring and summer). Following this, the tour will proceed to the cellar where the wine is aged, providing insights into the production process. The excitement truly begins with a wine tasting session, where participants will learn about the wine’s structure while enjoying pairings with delectable meats, cheeses, and locally-made honey in a charming wine tasting room. Each wine’s characteristics and the best ways to appreciate them will be explored. Visitors will be captivated by the country’s viniculture and the region’s wine history.
Important: After the tour, guests will have 1 hour to further explore by dining at the vineyard’s restaurant, visiting the winery’s hotel, church, and shop, or simply wandering the grounds to soak in the natural beauty of the landscape. Welcome!

The event is set to occur at a premier local vineyard in the newly designated Independence Valley, located in the Guanajuato, Mexico region. This area is renowned as the birthplace of wine in America. The vineyard produces internationally acclaimed, award-winning wines and boasts a staff dedicated to exceptional service. Surrounded by stunning landscapes, the Chateau is expansive, featuring impressive architecture and adorned with exquisite art. This tour offers an additional hour after the wine tasting to enjoy the restaurant or explore the rest of the winery, including the shop, hotel, church, and numerous other attractions.

Find the "Fábrica La Aurora" Art & Design Center on Calzada de la Aurora street (without number). The white Toyota minibus with the legend "Tres Raíces" on it, will show up 5 minutes before starting time right inside the parking lot next to a large sculpture of a bear and will departure sharp.

This is an incredible gem... - This is an incredible gem in the country. We drank some fantastic wine. The facility is first rate and impeccable. Thank you for being so accommodating to stay longer and enjoy the restaurant before returning us to our hotel. Great experience.

#10 - Guide was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We learned so much…have been on many wine tours throughout our lifetime and I would rate this tour #1. The wine tasting was fantastic…nice cheese board too.

Trip to the market and then cooking in a wonderful home - Zulma was a great guide and assistant to the hostess, Berta. We had a group of 6 friends.
We made several sauces, empanadas, and chicken pobil, and a coconut dessert.
Everything was so delicious! We were too full for dinner! Loved trying new ingredients!

Unexpectedly beautiful winery near SMA - Gorgeous winery (think high-end Napa) and delicious wines only 20 minutes from the center of San Miguel. Interesting tour of vineyards and production facilities, then great tasting of 5 quality wines and paired snacks. Really fun day and nice change of scenery if you’re staying more than a long weekend in SMA.

Exceptional Wine. Food & Service - Our wine tasting experience was fantastic! The wine selections offered a wide variety, and our tour guide was not only incredibly knowledgeable but also showed true passion for the content, making us feel genuinely welcome. My husband and I decided to stay for lunch—which we highly recommend! The flavors, presentation, and service were all impeccable. Overall, we absolutely loved the experience and will be telling local friends and family visiting San Miguel to make a trip to this winery. A definite must!

Amazing winery - Driver (Angel?) showed up on time and professional. Winery was beautiful. After a comprehensive tour, we sat for our wine tastings. Marco at the winery had been out of university for a year and had studied in the industry. He provided detailed information about the area, property, winemaking and answered our questions. We had generous pours and repeats when finished. We each had our own charcuterie board with meats, cheeses, grapes, olives, breadstick, and raw honey. We chose not to do the extra walking around on our own or to sit for lunch, so he called the driver who came to pick us up within 15 minutes. We purchased a few bottles of wine from the store and also ordered a cocktail to enjoy on the patio. We started the experience at exactly 12:30 PM and got back to our hotel by 3:30 PM. We were picked up at the location, which was a 6 minute walk from our hotel. And on the way back, we asked the driver if he could drop us to directly to the hotel and he was happy to do so.

Beautiful property, nice service, great experience. - My boyfriend and I booked this tour in August and so glad we did! We booked a 2:00 slot and no one else did so we actually got a private tour. Our guide was so friendly and knowledgeable. And he made sure we got plenty of photos. The wine pairings were delicious. We chose the 5 wine tasting and that was the perfect amount. I had never taken a vineyard tour before and this was a great one to be the first! Highly recommend. Would book again.

wine and more! - this was wonderful! plan for extra time at the pick up location - the site is full of artworks and other items - great shopping! The winery tour tasting were very educational (and delicious) - thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience!
