Excellent food tour - My husband and I went on the food tour in San Miguel de Allende last night and had a wonderful time! Our guide, Pascal, was knowledgeable, friendly, and fun! He took us to five different restaurants and shared history and culture of the area. The restaurants were beautiful, the food was delicious, and the conversation was lively. He ended our tour with the most amazing flan that my husband and I will be talking about for years!! I highly recommend Pascal and the food tour!!

Foodie heaven - Eliza was our guide, she is a local with roots in San Miguel. She knows her history of both the town and the food! We learned a lot from this experience. The food was amazing all in close proximity.

Nice tour with Pascal - Pascal did a nice job of showing us different cuisines within a historical context. I was glad I had an opportunity to do some of the much talked about roof top dining in San Miguel. We talked about different variations of vegetables that grow in this area. My original tour scheduled 5/23 was actually rescheduled to 5/24.

Delicious food and history info - Elisa did a great giant tour w. We tasted food items that we never would’ve ordered Springs , and they were absolutely delicious. She was very knowledgeable about all the history of the food as well as the city. I would totally recomend to anyone that loves food and history. It’s a combination of both as she is great.!!

Fantastic Evening! - Mary took our group of 8 adults to the most interesting restaurants—a number of them were beautiful rooftop settings and all had fabulous food. She is a great conversationalist and a wealth of information on the history of Mexico and San Miguel. We wish we had done this tour earlier in our trip as she gave us lots of suggestions on what to see and do in the area. Don’t hesitate to book this trip!

Fun with some caveats - It was a fun adventure to hit some of the restaurants in San Miguel - especially since most were rooftops. Pascal was an excellent tour guide with a wealth of information about the history of the town. A couple things to know before booking (that are not the fault of the tour guide): because they are mostly rooftops, the tour is not a good choice for those with restricted mobility. There is no alcohol included. There is not a lot of “authentic” San Miguel food in restaurants, so you won’t eat things that feel particularly authentic to the region. The food was delicious though. Overall, a fun tour and worth the time and money. Next time I’d like to do one of Pascal’s other tours.

Meh! - This tour was a case where there were a number of individual tastings, each experienced in it's own setting. The quality, originality, and concept of each preparation was underwhelming enough that you might not even call them appetizers. They were things that were quite easy to prepare and the creativity, or the lack of it, really came through in the mediocre taste experience of the evening. The people though were nice and interesting to talk too, so there was that. A hefty price for a meh experience!
