- ISIS RODRIGUEZ - The Mexican Art Class is a bilingual course offered in both English and Spanish. Participants can select from Portrait, Full Figure, Still Life, or Landscape. The class delves into Pre-Hispanic beauty and aesthetics through a historical and cultural perspective. It begins with a brief introduction to the history of Pre-Hispanic aesthetics and beauty, followed by a short drawing or painting demonstration.
Students will then choose their preferred subject, whether it be portrait, still life, or landscape. They also have the option to work with drawing, pastels, watercolors, or oils. Maestra Isis will be on hand to provide assistance and guidance.
At the conclusion of the class, students will have created a piece of artwork that they can take home and frame as a cherished memory of their experience!
Students opting for oils will need to book two days. All equipment, models, photos, and art materials are provided.
