Interested trip to the past! - Our visit to the archeological site was very informative. Horacio was knowledgeable about the history of the site and provided much detail in an easy to understand way. He made sure all members of the group were comfortable. He drove four of us from San Miguel de Allende to the site and back; he was on time and a safe driver.

Fascinating and historical - It was a great trip. Our tour guide, Horacio, was excellent. He made the trip even more interesting. The pyramid and its history are fascinating and well worth a visit for anyone who’s in San Miguel

Israel was great! - Israel was the best guide! Super knowledgeable about the archeology, and bonus that he knew a lot about indigenous food and drinks. Pickup was easy and on time. The hike is not difficult, but may be a lot if you are not active. Definitely recommend!

Really interesting place and a nice tour - Pick up was at the noted location and very prompt. The driver was very friendly and courteous and was a great driver. He was also a tour guide and had a lot of knowledge about the pyramids and was patient and supportive of everyone. He’s not the one that the tour Says will be giving the tour- apparently that person passed away earlier this year. But we thoroughly enjoyed his tour.

Excellent, Wonderfully Preserved Archaeological Site - Excellent, immersive experience at a well-preserved archaeological site. Unfortunately, our guide did not speak English, but there are signs all along the way in both Spanish and English that did a decent job of explaining the site and its various facets.

Okay day trip from SMA. - It was well organized. Israel is friendly and knows quite a bit though not in depth. The group was not prepared nor capable to do the long uphill to the site. I found it less than satisfying. I should have asked more questions about the guide and the group.

Nice archeological site but somehow lacking something... - We were very excited about the tour as we read superb review of this. However, it was very lackluster and just felt like it was incomplete. Our driver/guide was on time. The ride to the site was pleasant. However, we never did get introduced to the driver/guide. There were 8 persons in the group including us. After reaching the entrance of the site we were given some time to use the restroom before we were ushered into another bigger bus for a short drive closer to the pyramid. We reached a spot where we then proceeded on foot. The hike was very pleasant and scenery breathe taking. There were other groups and each has their own guide. Ours was very lack of a better words, "uneventful ". There was no introduction to the site or the pyramid. Information was very scattered. I had done many tours and this was the least informative. If we could have gone on our own and read up on the sites we would have gotten more. The best thing of the whole tour was when we were on the top of the pyramid and were greeted with a spectacular panoramic view of the site. We were really confused as to how this can get such high review. Perhaps we were just out of luck. We did find out that the original founder/guide of this tour company past away several months ago and a new guide had taken over the company. He sure has a big shoe to fill if all the previous reviews about this tour was true. We just didn't feel like it was that good.
