- Santo Tomás Jalieza - A visit to a family workshop where women specialize in creating textiles using a backstrap loom, one of the oldest weaving techniques in Zapotec culture. They produce shoulder bags, table runners, placemats, purses, bracelets, belts, and more.
- Santa Ana Zegache - A visit to Oaxaca’s only workshop dedicated to crafting mirror frames, a true art form! A group of women create baroque mirror frames from wood, adorned with gold leaf and fine silver. They have also contributed to the restoration of various temples in Oaxaca.
- Santa Catarina Minas - Concluding this wonderful experience, a visit to an artisanal mezcal distillery where a young woman is realizing her dream of producing her own mezcal. Guests will have the chance to taste over 8 varieties of mezcal while enjoying a stunning sunset and learning about the entire ancestral production process at the distillery.
- San Martin Tilcajete - Lunchtime: A visit to a traditional restaurant offering delicious Oaxacan dishes such as moles, roast beef, tlayudas, memelitas, vegetarian options, and refreshing natural fruit drinks.

Inspiring Women, Authentic Oaxaca - It was my most amazing day so far in Oaxaca! I had the chance to meet truly inspiring women, and it was such a beautiful reminder that we, women, can do anything we set our minds to — and that incredible things happen when women lift each other up and create opportunities together.
The host, Iveth, and the translator, Sofia, were absolutely incredible — so kind, fun, and inspiring to be around.
I highly recommend this tour to anyone — man or woman — who wants to support small businesses and be part of something that truly empowers women.

Cultural Immersion You’ll Never Forget - I had the most incredible time with Oaxaca Women Private Tours. It was such an immersive experience, I got to visit many amazing women artisans who continue to practice their ancestral ways of creating art. From weavers to mezcal makers, every encounter was full of knowledge, beauty, and tradition.
I loved being able to take part in workshops, not just observing but truly learning and appreciating the artistry and dedication behind each craft. Supporting these women and hearing their stories was deeply inspiring.
This experience gave me a whole new level of appreciation for Oaxaca’s culture and the strength of its women. I will definitely go again, and I constantly find myself telling people about it. Absolutely unforgettable!

Women supporting women artisans directly! - If you find yourself in Oaxaca you must do this tour! You will enjoy every moment. I felt so inspired and enlightened by learning about the different women artisans on the tour. I can’t recommend the tour guides and the experience enough!

There is no place like Oaxaca..this tour is PROOF! - The Oaxaca Women Private Tour is so special to me. I found the experience during my second visit to Oaxaca and it was like I was meeting Oaxaca for the first time. When I signed up for a tour by and for women I was excited about getting to hear from women of Oaxaca. However, the experience would not be what it is without Iveth. Right from pick up, Iveth was so welcoming and friendly as she helped me and my friends feel comfortable as we begun the day. She was incredibly communicative and prepared us for each stop on the tour. As we entered into the home of each artisan, they wrapped us in love. What stood out to me the most is the beautiful relationship Iveth had formed with each of the women we visited. To build a business that highlights the voices of women who previously didn't have a chance to share their stories with the world is inspiring. Each stop on this full day of magic, I was struck by the grit, courage, and badassery of each woman we met. They opened their homes and hearts to us and shared what it took to build a better life for themselves and their families. Be prepared for all the gorgeous items you'll have the chance to buy. I cannot wait for my next visit to Oaxaca. I cannot wait for another adventure with Iveth!

I have traveled all over the world and this was my favorite tour/guide. - We did a spontaneous all girls trip to Oaxaca and multi tours with Empoderando Mujeres/Oaxaca Womens Tour and it made our trip even all that more special. Not only was our guide the sweetest and most knowledgable woman but every location and experience was so thoughtfully curated with a great balance of fun, knowledge, and awe. I can not wait to go back to Oaxaca and explore more and connect with them once again.

Excelent - I had the pleasure of meeting them two years ago and touring with them to share the history, traditions and culture of the women of Oaxaca. It was wonderful. Very helpful and very friendly. A friendship was born, and I am looking forward to returning to Mexico to share more experiences with her.
