• Cerro Colorado - Exiting the urban scenery, the route will take us across the pampas and into a magnificent lenga forest. Majestic trees and Colihues reedbeds will accompany us as we delve deeper into the wilderness.
• Lago Lacar - As the ascent continues, the vegetation will gradually thin, unveiling sweeping views of the expansive Lacar Basin. At various points, glimpses of the sparkling waters of Lake Lacar below will enhance the charm of our expedition. The summit of Cerro Colorado awaits, providing a breathtaking 360-degree view. From this vantage point, the beauty of Lake Lacar, the Chapelco mountain range, Cerro Abanico, Cerro Sabana, Mallo, Lago Lolog, Lanin Volcano, and numerous other landmarks can be admired.
• San Martin de los Andes - The climb typically takes about 3 hours, with a couple more hours needed for the return to the base. During this time, there will be opportunities for photo stops, hydration, and the full enjoyment of this unique summit experience. The tour concludes back in San Martin de los Andes, where guests will be returned to their hotels.

Embark on a full-day guided hike to the peak of Cerro Colorado, a dormant volcano situated in Argentina’s Neuquen province, and marvel at its spectacular views. Commencing with a hotel pick up from San Martin de los Andes, a seasoned guide leads you through a modest ascent up this 5,833-foot (1,778-meter) mountain, familiarizing you with local flora and geological features along the way.
