It is very early in the... - It is very early in the morning but worth it. Fantastic experience, very friendly staff, thought I was going to be nervous but didn’t feel it at all. It was a bit foggy so we had to wait an extra half an hour before going up. Didn’t see much of the ground but the view of all the other balloons around was a beautiful sight.

Epic adventure!! - Be there early to get a ride via van from the company.
The process ran quite smoothly and was outstanding,

Worth it! - This was truly a once in a lifetime experience. The rising sun over the pyramids in a hot air balloon creates a memory not soon forgotten. When booking the breakfast be sure to check in with your travel host to ensure you get it. There are a lot of different tourism agencies trying to engage you with different things and I had to do some investigating for me and my fiance to figure out where the breakfast was that we paid for. It was also a bit confusing figuring out who we were cabbing with to the pyramid site after the hot air balloon ride. The tour we ultimately got sold on was worth it and the team we went with were very gracious. The tour was lead by a company started by two brothers who's family has lived in the area for generations. Their niece, Samara, gave a wonderful tour of the grounds. She was full of knowledge and her family was extremely helpful supporting us with finding an affordable ride back to Mexico City when we had not booked that before hand. It would be great if I could have the name of that tour group so that I can leave a review for them as well. They should give out cards! Overall, great experience.

A great round-trip half-day tour to Teotihuacan. - Included pick up and drop off, coffee, breakfast, a tour to learn about the Teotihuacan people and the pyramids themselves. The views from the balloon are once-in-a-lifetime and well worth the early morning. The tortilla soup at breakfast was the best I'd ever tasted! Overall, a wonderfully, well-organised tour that was well worth the money!

And amazing, difficult to describe experience! - I was a bit hesitant about doing this, but I cannot but recommend it! The experience, from beginning to end, was simply fabulous! The guys from Volar en Globo pick you up (very early for us, given the tour we had booked) and from that moment on they make sure you are comfortable, have fun and feel safe at all times.
The flight itself with out pilot (Cesar Omar, I hope I remember his name correctly) was amazing. He had a great way to make us feel confident and safe during the whole flight, and offered us views of Teotihuacán and surrounding areas that are impossible to describe.
The company provides transport to and from the site to Mexico City, breakfast, tea and coffee and transport to and from the ruins of Teotihuacán if it's part of your package. They are all great professionals, friendly, ready for you. This is a must, do not think about it, just book it!

Very complete and beautiful Service - The Service was excellent, we were contacted the day before to agree the point to pick us up, the time and gave us the directions. The van where we were super comfortable, the pre-flight coffee also rich. Beautiful flight💜 and breakfast after delicious.
We really liked that then they took us to the pyramids and waited for us and left us at the point of CDMX that we needed, even if it was not the pickup.

Great ride, poor communication - The balloon ride itself and the transportation from Mexico City to Teotihuacán were perfect and smooth. But pre-excursion communication was poor. Received a WhatsApp message a week before telling me I’d receive detailed instructions 3 days before the trip. Never happened. I had to reach out for instructions, which ate up lots of my sightseeing time. Once everything was set, the trip went smoothly. Beware: after the balloon ride, you are served breakfast and then taken to the pyramids for exploration time. We just called an Uber to take us back to the city. Otherwise you’re spending hours and hours out there. Of course, if you’ve never explored ruins like these, stay and soak up all you can.

If you can’t provide what you advertise you shouldn’t fly! - We arrived at flight centre at 5:00 am Nov 5. It was foggy on the ground and we told they require 200 meters visibility to fly so we would wait to see if it would clear. They decided to fly but the fog hadn’t lifted much. We ascended through thick clouds for quite some time eventually breaking into clear blue sky’s. We floated around for about half an hour looking at the topside of a fog bank. We then descended bank into the fog bank and landed. At no time did we see the pyramids or landscapes promised in the advertising. We approached manage with a number of other guests but were quickly brushed off. I would also like to mention that upon landing I noticed a number of other outfitters had not taken off.
